To summarize what I was saying. Getting to the boss in invasions is a lot easier, but I don't think that was the root of the problem. But I genuinely don't care because once matchmaking comes out then this issue will be non-existent most likely. I think this content just sucks from a design pov. Doesn't matter how hard or how easy; it's just not fun content.
Another thing you might try, make at least 3 open mod slots for Increase HP, Time Disruption, and HP Collector. Then change your external components to have HP as their main and have the sub attribute as Max HP on your Axillary Power component. That did a lot for me while running these
Things will probably get easier with matchmaking, but every time Nexon pulls ones of these high difficulty season activities many players will leave and never come back. That's okay if that's what the developers want.
Still sucks. The worst part is that if i die i have to start the entire boss arena over again. F this kind of mission until they fix it. Why don't they just leave it as it is for "hard mode" and give faster rewards for the hard mode, and leave the rest of us to grind longer if we don't want to get killed so easily?
You’re definitely not the only one noticing the lack up hp drops from enemies. I thought I was going crazy. Even if you hp collector, I’m left scavenging only to get one or two pick ups
room full of enemy, heal and get hit, i cant even see im heal or not and then the boss regen hp and shield when yellow bar end,, that bullshit right there dps check, oh ok, but how can i hit the boss, if they help 4-6shield enemy around, more than 10 gun , melee enemy keep stun lock you,that not fun
Co op means all enemies stats will scale up too, so they hit even harder. The only benefits for co op is the phases don't immediately get reset, but you're also risking spending more time reviving others or chewing through the death count
I see co-op, making this a lot worse honestly. Let me explain, so you understand. Take the drone invasion missions, guy runs in, sees the first drone with the image hits it, but right up the path a little is another one, cause they did not know there is another image that needed to be found. Everyone dies because they could not wait, or they don't understand the mechanics of it.
Well they should at least make it were you can pick your difficulty, as far as coop goes, sure put it in. Pick your poison. You either go in and risk reviving folks or you do it solo. Just let ppl choose 🤷🏽♂️
I agree with everything you said in this video...I can complete the dungeon but it's just so frustrating that I don't even wanna play them...they need a total rework.
Im so happy someone else notices that sometimes the enemies just DO NOT DROP HEALTH!!!! And to make it worse, theres a modifier that costs two ammo per shot.
Someone on reddit said that it feels like the devs have no clue how to make a fun game mode and are relying on the player's feedback to do their homework for them, and I couldn't agree more. Whoever designed the invasion missions needs to be fired. I feel like this shit would be so much better if they just let us co-op the missions, at least in a team of two.
All they did was change the puzzles as far as the actual mob density and bosses they didn't change anything. Well as far as I'm concerned the puzzles weren't an issue it's the mob density and the shields.
That Quarantine Zone boss hits for 5k per hit, that was wild. And for the ammo modifier, I just used my Greg's for mobbing and used Enduring Legacy against boss, I think the concept behind it is they're trying to push people into using different types of weapons. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Electric damage modifier soon so people would use anyone else other than Bunny. Health pickups definitely feel bad tho. Invasions are definitely not balanced towards people who just acquired Hard mode, which it should have been. If we keep having this cycle of excitement->indifference every season, they are in deep trouble. Hopefully the test group changes they mentioned will help gauge player sentiment before any other new content like this comes out.

No these were not made for hardcore players, these were made to easily beat by almost everyone. The problem is no one wanted to change their cookie cutter builds that they got off the internet, because it's a great build for another part of the game. What works for one area most likely will not work in another area. I mean most people have 3 builds they play, an intersection build, a mob build, and a farm build. so could you explain why they could not make an Invasion build? It's cause Invasion is a new mission type, and there are not any builds that people have shown really yet. So everyone just calls it hard, instead of suing what the game intended for l, people to make their own builds, to figure out what they could change to make the invasion easier for them.
I mean I've heavily invested into a handful of characters. I figure each descendant has its game type or grind or dungeon where they feel more like a tool for the right job. I personally dislike the invasion 😒 dungeons Woo! 💥☻️💭💤

If you can't kill the boss you need to build your gun out or build it better. I have golded most of these with just nazeistra or the afterglow sword on viessa and bunny you can get away with lower quality gun build if you have the right valby or enzo build

They were out of content to feed everyone who got everything and already complaining about content! The next big release isn't for a while and they had to give something meaningful to grind for. As long as progression transfer to Ults I won't mind spending but not going to until they confirm a date!
From personal experience it’s not more tedious than ultimates. You still have some RNG but if you run the dungeons you’ll get Hailey fairly quickly because of the guaranteed parts. Took me a week to get Ult Viessa while this only took me 3 days. The grind can be shortened, yes. But imo it’s not as bad as people make it out to be.
Curious changes for them to make considering the puzzles were not the problem. The problem is boss fights are completely rng for anyone outside the top 1% of players because if enemies don’t drop ammo or mana then you lose
The only invasion I could clear stress free is the orb collection invasion, the puzzle door is always 50/50 for me because there are times that the boss just hide behind the wall while I stand on a tile while getting swarmed
Same here, glad they helped those who are color blind. The main problem is the as you say the boss and the constant mobs that are relentless. Not fun for me anyway. My take away is that Nexon wants everyone to run Ultimate Bunny with the Enduring Legacy.
Forcing "Everyone" to play the hardest content solo while aslo timegating it was the biggest mistake they could have made. They literally just divided the community between the casuals that arent ready vs the hardcore gamers that like the challenge.

I have a thunder & greg’s -full optimize. Also fully optimized Valby. Barely able to complete. I’ve done two. If they added matching I think it would help a lot
the big problem is that they made their whole promotion for this update around this invasion bullshit instead of making it clear that its gonna be a new hardcore mode and its not gonna be for everyone, dont know if that was intentional or just stupid.

It's so frustrating because this game has SO much potential 😔 I think they should've added higher difficulty tiers with better drop rates and delayed the season 1 update It's been a while since I played The Division 1 but I think that game has 16 difficulty tiers that would be enough to satisfy most people I think Also I think it would be a good idea for them to allow us to upgrade our Ultimate weapons & Descendants into Transcended weapons & Descendants along with an additional region where the enemies are stronger, higher drop rates etc (maybe even give us free skins for hitting max rank & proficiency with our Ult Descendants & weapons) The community seems split right now between hardcore players & casuals (because they nerfed Pyromaniac for some reason) which isn't a good thing they NEED to find a balance ASAP

For Fortress especially when his shield is that one color that is behind the giant pillar in the back, you can't even shoot or aim at him The other annoying thing is how these big bosses will walk away and distance themselves out of immunity stage,but will come up and square you up during immunity phase

Totally agree about how annoying it is. Frustrating man. But I'm one of the players you talk about who is half way there with weapons being upgraded. I've soloed a lot of hard content in Destiny 2 so I'm no stranger to hard work but I really feel you gotta pay to win unless you chuck in hundreds and hundreds of hours.
It's not just you on #3, they did that on purpose. They designed these missions the way that they did to force you, out of frustration, to buy the new character. It's age old mobile game tactics. They get you hooked, content is easy as hell up to a point, to get past that wall you're pretty much forced to pay to get past unless you continue to grind the easy content and nauseum. Developers like this don't want casuals in their game because they don't spend money like streamers or the addicted. I mean, don't you find it a little odd that they give you the best character and weapon within the first three hours of playing? The two things that pretty much make all content trivial, Bunny and the Thunder Cage. It's to get you hooked. Then they throw in road blocks like Hanged Man, which are required to complete to move on with progression. It weeds out the really casual player. Then you just run through more trivial content, gaining a few weapons and characters, but never really use them because they're all niche and underwhelming compared to what you already have. (Honestly, they should give out the maid uniforms for free because all we do is clean up after toxic speedrun Bunnies.) Then the devs hype up a new character, parade it around the socials like the next biggest thing, and then lock it behind the absolute worst side activity one could imagine. The biggest kick in the nuts to everyone, except the git gud skill issue cool guy gamer bros, is that it's the entire focal point of the entire season. 3 months of no new content for "casuals" in any preexisting content, no new maps or enemy factions, no new story quests except for the one tied to the new side activity that tries convince you as a player why it is necessary that the side activity exists. It's the same old mobile game bullshit from over 15 years ago. Nexon did not set out to create a game that would stand out or last a long time. They did what they always do, rip-off existing IPs and grab as much cash as they can in the shortest amount of time. All the QoL changes that they've made are just to keep that casual hanging on just a little bit more, help them get to that insurmountable wall, and then the player chooses whether that they want to suffer or just break out the wallet. As soon as you realize this, as soon as everyone realizes this, TFD will be a long forgotten piece of shit on the pile of Asian Gatcha games.

I've gone out of my way to build and start maxing a Greg's Reversed Fate to handle this content. I want to feed it an energy activator but I only got 1 left and I want it to go to Hailey. I still don't find the invasions fun. They do way more damage than I would like and have so much HP/Shield it doesn't feel fun. Its not fun to collect 20 drops to turn off the bosses invincibility just to have to kill its actual shield that full heals between each time you collect 20. I don't like the feel of having to turn my character into a tank because the boss has so much HP its better to just max a weapon instead of using my abilities. I don't feel like the content needed negative modifiers and new systems at the same time. To be honest I didn't even realize the negative modifiers until couple days ago. The modifiers should be like the dungeons where you turn it on for more stuff.
I feel like if they do a mode catered to the hardcore side nexon is gonna use it as a way to lock certain stuff behind it that the casual side can’t get to which I hope that’s not the case cause it’ll chase so many people away
I've heavily built into descendents. Ult Gley x9, ult bunny x11, ult Viessa x7 and ult valby x5 (still a wip). So regardless I have multiple characters I can kill all the enemies with and get the win no matter what
I feel like HP pickups are even fewer than they were. In Infiltration operations, every 3rd or so enemy would drop HP pack but in Invasion it really is not happening as often. Maybe every 15 enemy drops it but that is making the big issue when you try to fight the boss, reach the gold time and survive.
My problem with Invasions is that the bosses have too much shielding and the enemies dont drop enough health items. Using a level 40 Ult Bunny couldnt get me through. I just dont have the DPS. Im going to grind to power up my Ult Viessa and even my Thundercage (which I really dont want to do as I find SMG's a bit boring).
I agree with you 100% My major issue with invasions is why is it solo??? Why is there a solo mode in a multiplayer game?? They said that they will eventually add multiplayer to invasions. It's probably going to be later than sooner. Until multiplayer is added I won't be touching invasions
Only things I paid for were a couple skins and slots for additional descendant. I grinded and unlocked all ults except gley. This invasion stuff to get Hailey is infuriating. I’m running ult Ajax with energy + 4 catalysts and the boss on fortress is still almost impossible.
I've got a crytallization catalyst on every slot on my ultimate bunny and thundercage, and it is still really hard to get gold on invasion missions after the update. The nerfed everything except the part that needed tuning, which is the bosses health. So now I need to grind another 8-10 sockets on another gun just to complete this!? Ugh
From your video, one thing I can add to at least help with ammo economy is if you're using a general rounds gun, equip a second general rounds gun and you can mod the one you don't plan on using very cheaply to increase your max general rounds that you can carry which effects both of your equipped general rounds guns. I can currently carry over 800 ammo for my Thunder Cage for example. Additionally, you can also use mods on the general rounds gun that you aren't using that converts green or orange ammo drops into general rounds if you run over them while holding the "ammo battery" general rounds gun. All it takes is 3 mods on a secondary general rounds gun to accomplish this and you essentially have infinite ammo at that point.
My main gripe of invasion is how some of this content is built for Bunny/Valby This game should be fair for all descendants as players all use different characters, just sucks I have to farm another gun or build a whole another descendant just to make my future gameplay a breeze
Its a win-win no? Let them with they ego to run and kill everything for you. In return. You get to finish the mission faster. So why should it bother you as non bunny?

Its not difficult to watch paint dry. That doesnt mean watching paint dry is fun. Also if you made watching paint dry more difficult it still would suck. It isnt about difficulty at all. Its that invasions are just a bad idea executed horribly.

Even with my bad low level enduring legacy I was still doing ok damage to some of the bosses and would beat it in 3 or 4 cycles, my biggest problem is being able to survive, some of the bosses just two shot me or get me low enough then they shoot out some BS homing shot that curves around walls and chase me to the ends of the earth to kill me. The mobs are a bit of a problem but the biggest problem with them is that they distract me from the boss, I'm trying to dodge the boss while trying to clear mobs.
I struggled like hell to do that fortress mission with lepic. Then i moved to bunny and killed the boss without even using my weapon, except on his shield. Its such a bad design. We go through all this trouble to level and upgrade different characters to fight hard content. Then when we finally get hard content its all designed around bunny. Im starting to resent her big time.
Nope not true at all, people clear these with all classes, even after nerfs today. People don't read or care about weaknesses of factions. I used cold bullets on my TC and it went smooth. First time I tried Enduring Legacy but didn't work. So back to drawing board I went.
Ajax is my go to character for these...plus my bunny gun thunder cage. Enemy density is a big issue for a lot of players...if you can't tank the hits or quickly wipe them out you are screwed most of the time. If they made more ways to make the game challenging instead of throwing mobs at you then nobody would feel like they are stuck using bunny.
I was, for the most part, able to finish several of them. I do work a lot of hours each week. So I don't live on the game. And I'm really not a terrible player. However, I did find myself sitting there cussing the TV trying to finish the invasions before today. After the patch, I finished with much fewer obscenities. 😂
the devs better hope that Octobers update is godly because they dont fix these dog Sheet invasion dungeons i'm out for good sadly and i have almost 800 hours in the game myself
I run Garden and Legacy on Bunny with max range and HP collector, skill aoe mobs, weapon kill boss in one phase, no problem. You can call its bad, but I think people just don't want to adapt, keep playing their way and struggle.
I like these changes. My build and investment actually matter now as im not being hindered or delayed by timed mechanics. I agree that the invasions are poorly designed but getting 5 million gold for doing 4 missions is better than running around circles for hours to get the same ammount.
The hp and ammo drops are the most randomest thing. Sometimes there is just two types laying around even when you are full then the other times it’s completely opposite type laying orotund and they keep dropping the wrong ammo. Yes 100% devs are like the dudes who knows how to make stuff but don’t know how people find it useful.
My main concern is if Hailey is this annoying to farm what are they going to do with ult Freyna. I would much rather farm amorphs than do these type of missions. I agree with everything you just said too its not fun and only sweats like this game mode. I'm not a sweaty player myself and I just like playing the game for fun. I've tried invasion and hate the mode so not even going to participate in playing it. I can clear it as well, but the point is we should be playing the game to have fun. If you're not enjoying invasion I would say the same get Hailey and bounce as quick as possible.
I gave up with my Viessa and tries with my Bunny, as soon as you stop on the tiles...my 19k of health just vanish so quickly...so how can I stand on the tile, shoot the shield of the boss while knowing she wont make it from being shoot and sniped at??
I don’t get why people complain so much. First, if you are causal player, then you must know one thing. Don’t use low hp character to do invasion. Use a normal full build Varby to do it. Put some hp mod and duration, and there you go, don’t start hitting the boss at the beginning, start up water pool to secure the defence line, not hard to through all the invasions. I didn’t pay nor hard grind, and still pull it through. Don’t rely on the content UA-camr throw for audience, use your brain to think through. I think the worst thing is the symbols in invasion is the truth mission, and they fix it already.

yea they make the missions harder than hard mode bosses you have to have a fully maxed weapon to do them and its part of the story like what are you doing nexon
I wouldnt mind these invasions if the bosses didnt hit me harser than a truck. All I would want to make these invasions more fu n would be a duo just to take boss aggro at times lol
All of the situations you describe are non issues if playing Bunny. I think a lot of situations like this is just pushing the player to play Bunny. We know she is the main character but they could balance staff around characters that dont have an auto aoe nuke constantly on.
Same here, the knock backs made me wanna immediately throw the controller away. Got to the boss and I thought they fucking kidding me. I could not even get through the shield. I have like 110h in but did not rush the content or got immediately the hot stuff so especially my weapons are not so much cata unlocked yet but ult valby pretty much is. I tried another invasion with the colored platforms and I could not do much dmg to the boss. Also at some point even with over 10k hp etc. I just day at some point because of the lack of hp drops even though the enemies non stop spawn in this mode. Then you die and have to restart. I wanna like the game man and it can be good but their game designers have no fucking idea what they do and what they make the content for. Even the battle pass weapon doesnt work. It defies logic and fun. I don't mind the puzzles and that it is solo, just balance it for that. You see how quickly they do react patches but then the next thing they add is again not good. They just try and error stuff without knowing their own game
Tbh i agree im a casual my self, i dont mind the grind to get descendants and energy upgrade, but the Invasion update the introduction to Invasion was left sour taste idky it needed to be in hard mode if gonna introduce a new mechanic at least set ir by normal difficulty on Default or give play choose Normal or Hard, plus drop rate on hailey so low not enough days farm all her material without doing invasions. Plus i agree hardcore (no lifer) are not making this game favoritble to casuals who like the game or moving away from Destiny, Warframe, etc. Like they deliberately trying gatekeep push casuals out pretty sure like all Nexon games every try push casuals put their territory. Like not everyone gonna spend money or have time get to the most broken build hardcore tell all casuals to *Get Good* , so idk how helps make the game better if make it a toxicity community space casuals not welcomed. Plus this invasion mode already detured me not play the mod due lack coop yes understand it makes enemies stronger so? Least not forced solo something cant beat and getting help form folks farming the invasion. So long story short Invasion is just put every casual off and try hards not making it better either.
idk what it is for me. i cannot beat the boss in most of the dungeons. ive been maxing mods and getting my gun as strong as it can get. the boss destroys me with good health and defense and im doing no damage. so frustrating.
Totally agree. These invasions suck donkey balls. Just annoying as fuck. Why make a game dedicated to team play then make invasions solo? I can clear all the invasions, they are just annoying as hell. The constant ads. Give me just one more player. The bosses hit harder on this than in the invasions missions (except gluttony). Keep in mind I am one of those guys with min/maxed Enduring Legacy, and Gregs Reverse Fate and characters. I have almost 40 days on this game according to xbox. Invasions are still fucking annoying.
I'll give the benefit of the doubt to the devs for this season since season 1 was already in the works before the launch of the game and it's hard to adjust activities drastically in a short period of time. However the future of this game is gonna be incredibly bleak if the devs don't learn anything from this season and improve upon all of their bullshit
Is it better, sure it is. Less mobs, fewer dud mechanics (wrong plates and empty pillars) and 66 - 200% more Hailey parts depending on what tier you finish. But it's still terrible content. The devs made a post that they wanted to push more weapon descendants, well this ain't it chief. This is bunny city, population of 1. Someone needs to inform the devs that Tetris is still the go to for puzzling games. I didn't choose this title for shitty 🧩. Furthermore as it relates to content, they genuinely seem to think reversing levels is new content 😂.
I was able to solo all the Invasions pretty easily but I couldn't wait to do the last one every reset. Just boring and annoying. I get gold now on every new one because of the nerf. My Ajax build makes it pretty easy. Ajax made them easy for me even before the nerf. Maybe I should post my build. For the life me I'm not sure why everyone sleeps on Ajax for an amazing AOE build. You can use his shield while you're stadning in circles or shooting tumors. Then use void splash for charging enemies. My build is on spam cool down. I don't even own the Enduring Legacy, my thunder cage slaps pretty hard. 600k The only must have card for his build is the HP collector.
I can't complete them even after the nerf and haven't even queued after completing just 1 of those. The spawn rate and boss shield refuel mechanics are overkill and I refuse to give up and use meta descendants crutch. Invasions for casuals are like Gluttony or Hanged Man, you queue once, see the BS design and forget this "content" exists.

Today it was way too easy!!! I had a run where I barely lost my 350 shields. It's redicilous easy now. They just needed to tweak it, not like nerf to the ground. You can finish it niw with basic bunny with 0 additional cats.
Only thing invasions are worth to me is the coin you get. The invasion module thing with the “perks” is dogshit, pointless, makes no difference. I only have trouble with two bosses. My biggest issue with the bosses are the projectiles that follow you, it’s irritating, fucking irritating
I don't get the frustration. They are adding matchmaking to the invasions. They are also bringing a harder version of this for those who put a lot of time into their builds. It's a free to play game just relax until matchmaking arrives.
To summarize what I was saying. Getting to the boss in invasions is a lot easier, but I don't think that was the root of the problem. But I genuinely don't care because once matchmaking comes out then this issue will be non-existent most likely.
I think this content just sucks from a design pov. Doesn't matter how hard or how easy; it's just not fun content.
Have you tried using the ammo convert modules? I rarely ever run out of ammo completely

Another thing you might try, make at least 3 open mod slots for Increase HP, Time Disruption, and HP Collector. Then change your external components to have HP as their main and have the sub attribute as Max HP on your Axillary Power component. That did a lot for me while running these
Things will probably get easier with matchmaking, but every time Nexon pulls ones of these high difficulty season activities many players will leave and never come back. That's okay if that's what the developers want.
The boss is a giant hurdle, puzzle nerfs mean nothing if the final boss is just a gear check
Still sucks. The worst part is that if i die i have to start the entire boss arena over again. F this kind of mission until they fix it. Why don't they just leave it as it is for "hard mode" and give faster rewards for the hard mode, and leave the rest of us to grind longer if we don't want to get killed so easily?
You’re definitely not the only one noticing the lack up hp drops from enemies. I thought I was going crazy. Even if you hp collector, I’m left scavenging only to get one or two pick ups

They didn't need to nerf them, just allow more players to do them together.
Co op means all enemies stats will scale up too, so they hit even harder. The only benefits for co op is the phases don't immediately get reset, but you're also risking spending more time reviving others or chewing through the death count
That would at least give me hope that those Raid-from-Destiny-like-Dungeons are indeed coming soon TM.
I see co-op, making this a lot worse honestly. Let me explain, so you understand. Take the drone invasion missions, guy runs in, sees the first drone with the image hits it, but right up the path a little is another one, cause they did not know there is another image that needed to be found. Everyone dies because they could not wait, or they don't understand the mechanics of it.
Well they should at least make it were you can pick your difficulty, as far as coop goes, sure put it in. Pick your poison. You either go in and risk reviving folks or you do it solo. Just let ppl choose 🤷🏽♂️

That’s only for general rounds weapons so if you have multiple weapons built like a Greg’s you’ll be fine
Someone on reddit said that it feels like the devs have no clue how to make a fun game mode and are relying on the player's feedback to do their homework for them, and I couldn't agree more. Whoever designed the invasion missions needs to be fired. I feel like this shit would be so much better if they just let us co-op the missions, at least in a team of two.
All they did was change the puzzles as far as the actual mob density and bosses they didn't change anything. Well as far as I'm concerned the puzzles weren't an issue it's the mob density and the shields.
That Quarantine Zone boss hits for 5k per hit, that was wild. And for the ammo modifier, I just used my Greg's for mobbing and used Enduring Legacy against boss, I think the concept behind it is they're trying to push people into using different types of weapons. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Electric damage modifier soon so people would use anyone else other than Bunny. Health pickups definitely feel bad tho.
Invasions are definitely not balanced towards people who just acquired Hard mode, which it should have been. If we keep having this cycle of excitement->indifference every season, they are in deep trouble. Hopefully the test group changes they mentioned will help gauge player sentiment before any other new content like this comes out.

No these were not made for hardcore players, these were made to easily beat by almost everyone. The problem is no one wanted to change their cookie cutter builds that they got off the internet, because it's a great build for another part of the game. What works for one area most likely will not work in another area. I mean most people have 3 builds they play, an intersection build, a mob build, and a farm build. so could you explain why they could not make an Invasion build? It's cause Invasion is a new mission type, and there are not any builds that people have shown really yet. So everyone just calls it hard, instead of suing what the game intended for l, people to make their own builds, to figure out what they could change to make the invasion easier for them.
I mean I've heavily invested into a handful of characters. I figure each descendant has its game type or grind or dungeon where they feel more like a tool for the right job. I personally dislike the invasion 😒 dungeons Woo! 💥☻️💭💤

It's interesting how they make a grind for a normal character so tedious. The fact she takes longer than the endgame chase ultimate characters is so wild.
She is stronger than the current ultimates. So it makes sense to me that she is harder to get. Ultimate vs non ultimate doesn't really mean anything.

They were out of content to feed everyone who got everything and already complaining about content! The next big release isn't for a while and they had to give something meaningful to grind for. As long as progression transfer to Ults I won't mind spending but not going to until they confirm a date!
From personal experience it’s not more tedious than ultimates. You still have some RNG but if you run the dungeons you’ll get Hailey fairly quickly because of the guaranteed parts. Took me a week to get Ult Viessa while this only took me 3 days. The grind can be shortened, yes. But imo it’s not as bad as people make it out to be.

The ammo is god awful. The fortress one tonight has a modifier that costs standard ammo +1 and has barely any drops. The boss is RIDICULOUS.
Curious changes for them to make considering the puzzles were not the problem. The problem is boss fights are completely rng for anyone outside the top 1% of players because if enemies don’t drop ammo or mana then you lose
The only invasion I could clear stress free is the orb collection invasion, the puzzle door is always 50/50 for me because there are times that the boss just hide behind the wall while I stand on a tile while getting swarmed

Same here, glad they helped those who are color blind. The main problem is the as you say the boss and the constant mobs that are relentless. Not fun for me anyway. My take away is that Nexon wants everyone to run Ultimate Bunny with the Enduring Legacy.
Forcing "Everyone" to play the hardest content solo while aslo timegating it was the biggest mistake they could have made. They literally just divided the community between the casuals that arent ready vs the hardcore gamers that like the challenge.
These bosses are no joke, getting to the boss is easy now but surviving those suckers is annoying.

It's been a while since I played The Division 1 but I think that game has 16 difficulty tiers that would be enough to satisfy most people I think
Also I think it would be a good idea for them to allow us to upgrade our Ultimate weapons & Descendants into Transcended weapons & Descendants along with an additional region where the enemies are stronger, higher drop rates etc (maybe even give us free skins for hitting max rank & proficiency with our Ult Descendants & weapons)
The community seems split right now between hardcore players & casuals (because they nerfed Pyromaniac for some reason) which isn't a good thing they NEED to find a balance ASAP

Totally agree about how annoying it is. Frustrating man. But I'm one of the players you talk about who is half way there with weapons being upgraded. I've soloed a lot of hard content in Destiny 2 so I'm no stranger to hard work but I really feel you gotta pay to win unless you chuck in hundreds and hundreds of hours.
It's not just you on #3, they did that on purpose.
They designed these missions the way that they did to force you, out of frustration, to buy the new character. It's age old mobile game tactics. They get you hooked, content is easy as hell up to a point, to get past that wall you're pretty much forced to pay to get past unless you continue to grind the easy content and nauseum. Developers like this don't want casuals in their game because they don't spend money like streamers or the addicted. I mean, don't you find it a little odd that they give you the best character and weapon within the first three hours of playing? The two things that pretty much make all content trivial, Bunny and the Thunder Cage. It's to get you hooked. Then they throw in road blocks like Hanged Man, which are required to complete to move on with progression. It weeds out the really casual player. Then you just run through more trivial content, gaining a few weapons and characters, but never really use them because they're all niche and underwhelming compared to what you already have. (Honestly, they should give out the maid uniforms for free because all we do is clean up after toxic speedrun Bunnies.) Then the devs hype up a new character, parade it around the socials like the next biggest thing, and then lock it behind the absolute worst side activity one could imagine. The biggest kick in the nuts to everyone, except the git gud skill issue cool guy gamer bros, is that it's the entire focal point of the entire season. 3 months of no new content for "casuals" in any preexisting content, no new maps or enemy factions, no new story quests except for the one tied to the new side activity that tries convince you as a player why it is necessary that the side activity exists.
It's the same old mobile game bullshit from over 15 years ago. Nexon did not set out to create a game that would stand out or last a long time. They did what they always do, rip-off existing IPs and grab as much cash as they can in the shortest amount of time. All the QoL changes that they've made are just to keep that casual hanging on just a little bit more, help them get to that insurmountable wall, and then the player chooses whether that they want to suffer or just break out the wallet. As soon as you realize this, as soon as everyone realizes this, TFD will be a long forgotten piece of shit on the pile of Asian Gatcha games.

I've gone out of my way to build and start maxing a Greg's Reversed Fate to handle this content. I want to feed it an energy activator but I only got 1 left and I want it to go to Hailey. I still don't find the invasions fun. They do way more damage than I would like and have so much HP/Shield it doesn't feel fun. Its not fun to collect 20 drops to turn off the bosses invincibility just to have to kill its actual shield that full heals between each time you collect 20. I don't like the feel of having to turn my character into a tank because the boss has so much HP its better to just max a weapon instead of using my abilities. I don't feel like the content needed negative modifiers and new systems at the same time. To be honest I didn't even realize the negative modifiers until couple days ago. The modifiers should be like the dungeons where you turn it on for more stuff.
I feel like if they do a mode catered to the hardcore side nexon is gonna use it as a way to lock certain stuff behind it that the casual side can’t get to which I hope that’s not the case cause it’ll chase so many people away

I've heavily built into descendents. Ult Gley x9, ult bunny x11, ult Viessa x7 and ult valby x5 (still a wip). So regardless I have multiple characters I can kill all the enemies with and get the win no matter what
I feel like HP pickups are even fewer than they were. In Infiltration operations, every 3rd or so enemy would drop HP pack but in Invasion it really is not happening as often. Maybe every 15 enemy drops it but that is making the big issue when you try to fight the boss, reach the gold time and survive.
My problem with Invasions is that the bosses have too much shielding and the enemies dont drop enough health items. Using a level 40 Ult Bunny couldnt get me through. I just dont have the DPS.
Im going to grind to power up my Ult Viessa and even my Thundercage (which I really dont want to do as I find SMG's a bit boring).
I agree with you 100% My major issue with invasions is why is it solo??? Why is there a solo mode in a multiplayer game?? They said that they will eventually add multiplayer to invasions. It's probably going to be later than sooner. Until multiplayer is added I won't be touching invasions
Only things I paid for were a couple skins and slots for additional descendant. I grinded and unlocked all ults except gley. This invasion stuff to get Hailey is infuriating. I’m running ult Ajax with energy + 4 catalysts and the boss on fortress is still almost impossible.
I've got a crytallization catalyst on every slot on my ultimate bunny and thundercage, and it is still really hard to get gold on invasion missions after the update. The nerfed everything except the part that needed tuning, which is the bosses health. So now I need to grind another 8-10 sockets on another gun just to complete this!? Ugh
From your video, one thing I can add to at least help with ammo economy is if you're using a general rounds gun, equip a second general rounds gun and you can mod the one you don't plan on using very cheaply to increase your max general rounds that you can carry which effects both of your equipped general rounds guns. I can currently carry over 800 ammo for my Thunder Cage for example. Additionally, you can also use mods on the general rounds gun that you aren't using that converts green or orange ammo drops into general rounds if you run over them while holding the "ammo battery" general rounds gun. All it takes is 3 mods on a secondary general rounds gun to accomplish this and you essentially have infinite ammo at that point.
Only one i really had a problem with was the ome where u gotta stand on the circles the enemies at the end of those were melting me

Its not difficult to watch paint dry. That doesnt mean watching paint dry is fun. Also if you made watching paint dry more difficult it still would suck. It isnt about difficulty at all. Its that invasions are just a bad idea executed horribly.

Even with my bad low level enduring legacy I was still doing ok damage to some of the bosses and would beat it in 3 or 4 cycles, my biggest problem is being able to survive, some of the bosses just two shot me or get me low enough then they shoot out some BS homing shot that curves around walls and chase me to the ends of the earth to kill me. The mobs are a bit of a problem but the biggest problem with them is that they distract me from the boss, I'm trying to dodge the boss while trying to clear mobs.
I struggled like hell to do that fortress mission with lepic. Then i moved to bunny and killed the boss without even using my weapon, except on his shield. Its such a bad design. We go through all this trouble to level and upgrade different characters to fight hard content. Then when we finally get hard content its all designed around bunny. Im starting to resent her big time.
Nope not true at all, people clear these with all classes, even after nerfs today. People don't read or care about weaknesses of factions. I used cold bullets on my TC and it went smooth. First time I tried Enduring Legacy but didn't work. So back to drawing board I went.

Ajax is my go to character for these...plus my bunny gun thunder cage. Enemy density is a big issue for a lot of players...if you can't tank the hits or quickly wipe them out you are screwed most of the time. If they made more ways to make the game challenging instead of throwing mobs at you then nobody would feel like they are stuck using bunny.
I was, for the most part, able to finish several of them. I do work a lot of hours each week. So I don't live on the game. And I'm really not a terrible player. However, I did find myself sitting there cussing the TV trying to finish the invasions before today. After the patch, I finished with much fewer obscenities. 😂
the devs better hope that Octobers update is godly because they dont fix these dog Sheet invasion dungeons i'm out for good sadly and i have almost 800 hours in the game myself
I run Garden and Legacy on Bunny with max range and HP collector, skill aoe mobs, weapon kill boss in one phase, no problem. You can call its bad, but I think people just don't want to adapt, keep playing their way and struggle.
I like these changes. My build and investment actually matter now as im not being hindered or delayed by timed mechanics.
I agree that the invasions are poorly designed but getting 5 million gold for doing 4 missions is better than running around circles for hours to get the same ammount.

The hp and ammo drops are the most randomest thing. Sometimes there is just two types laying around even when you are full then the other times it’s completely opposite type laying orotund and they keep dropping the wrong ammo. Yes 100% devs are like the dudes who knows how to make stuff but don’t know how people find it useful.
My main concern is if Hailey is this annoying to farm what are they going to do with ult Freyna. I would much rather farm amorphs than do these type of missions. I agree with everything you just said too its not fun and only sweats like this game mode. I'm not a sweaty player myself and I just like playing the game for fun. I've tried invasion and hate the mode so not even going to participate in playing it. I can clear it as well, but the point is we should be playing the game to have fun. If you're not enjoying invasion I would say the same get Hailey and bounce as quick as possible.
I gave up with my Viessa and tries with my Bunny, as soon as you stop on the tiles...my 19k of health just vanish so quickly...so how can I stand on the tile, shoot the shield of the boss while knowing she wont make it from being shoot and sniped at??
I don’t get why people complain so much. First, if you are causal player, then you must know one thing. Don’t use low hp character to do invasion. Use a normal full build Varby to do it. Put some hp mod and duration, and there you go, don’t start hitting the boss at the beginning, start up water pool to secure the defence line, not hard to through all the invasions. I didn’t pay nor hard grind, and still pull it through. Don’t rely on the content UA-camr throw for audience, use your brain to think through. I think the worst thing is the symbols in invasion is the truth mission, and they fix it already.

All of the situations you describe are non issues if playing Bunny. I think a lot of situations like this is just pushing the player to play Bunny.
We know she is the main character but they could balance staff around characters that dont have an auto aoe nuke constantly on.
From the gameplay it looks like your holding your on. I say keep going.
Same here, the knock backs made me wanna immediately throw the controller away. Got to the boss and I thought they fucking kidding me. I could not even get through the shield. I have like 110h in but did not rush the content or got immediately the hot stuff so especially my weapons are not so much cata unlocked yet but ult valby pretty much is. I tried another invasion with the colored platforms and I could not do much dmg to the boss. Also at some point even with over 10k hp etc. I just day at some point because of the lack of hp drops even though the enemies non stop spawn in this mode. Then you die and have to restart.
I wanna like the game man and it can be good but their game designers have no fucking idea what they do and what they make the content for. Even the battle pass weapon doesnt work. It defies logic and fun. I don't mind the puzzles and that it is solo, just balance it for that.
You see how quickly they do react patches but then the next thing they add is again not good. They just try and error stuff without knowing their own game
Tbh i agree im a casual my self, i dont mind the grind to get descendants and energy upgrade, but the Invasion update the introduction to Invasion was left sour taste idky it needed to be in hard mode if gonna introduce a new mechanic at least set ir by normal difficulty on Default or give play choose Normal or Hard, plus drop rate on hailey so low not enough days farm all her material without doing invasions. Plus i agree hardcore (no lifer) are not making this game favoritble to casuals who like the game or moving away from Destiny, Warframe, etc. Like they deliberately trying gatekeep push casuals out pretty sure like all Nexon games every try push casuals put their territory. Like not everyone gonna spend money or have time get to the most broken build hardcore tell all casuals to *Get Good* , so idk how helps make the game better if make it a toxicity community space casuals not welcomed. Plus this invasion mode already detured me not play the mod due lack coop yes understand it makes enemies stronger so? Least not forced solo something cant beat and getting help form folks farming the invasion. So long story short Invasion is just put every casual off and try hards not making it better either.

idk what it is for me. i cannot beat the boss in most of the dungeons. ive been maxing mods and getting my gun as strong as it can get. the boss destroys me with good health and defense and im doing no damage. so frustrating.

Totally agree. These invasions suck donkey balls. Just annoying as fuck. Why make a game dedicated to team play then make invasions solo? I can clear all the invasions, they are just annoying as hell. The constant ads. Give me just one more player. The bosses hit harder on this than in the invasions missions (except gluttony). Keep in mind I am one of those guys with min/maxed Enduring Legacy, and Gregs Reverse Fate and characters. I have almost 40 days on this game according to xbox. Invasions are still fucking annoying.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt to the devs for this season since season 1 was already in the works before the launch of the game and it's hard to adjust activities drastically in a short period of time.
However the future of this game is gonna be incredibly bleak if the devs don't learn anything from this season and improve upon all of their bullshit
Is it better, sure it is. Less mobs, fewer dud mechanics (wrong plates and empty pillars) and 66 - 200% more Hailey parts depending on what tier you finish. But it's still terrible content.
The devs made a post that they wanted to push more weapon descendants, well this ain't it chief. This is bunny city, population of 1. Someone needs to inform the devs that Tetris is still the go to for puzzling games. I didn't choose this title for shitty 🧩. Furthermore as it relates to content, they genuinely seem to think reversing levels is new content 😂.
I was able to solo all the Invasions pretty easily but I couldn't wait to do the last one every reset. Just boring and annoying. I get gold now on every new one because of the nerf.
My Ajax build makes it pretty easy. Ajax made them easy for me even before the nerf. Maybe I should post my build. For the life me I'm not sure why everyone sleeps on Ajax for an amazing AOE build. You can use his shield while you're stadning in circles or shooting tumors. Then use void splash for charging enemies. My build is on spam cool down.
I don't even own the Enduring Legacy, my thunder cage slaps pretty hard. 600k
The only must have card for his build is the HP collector.
This is sad I was hoping it would be easier. I couldn't beat them before and I doubt I could now either.
I can't complete them even after the nerf and haven't even queued after completing just 1 of those.
The spawn rate and boss shield refuel mechanics are overkill and I refuse to give up and use meta descendants crutch.
Invasions for casuals are like Gluttony or Hanged Man, you queue once, see the BS design and forget this "content" exists.

Just open coop mode in invasion then everything will be acceptable
Today it was way too easy!!! I had a run where I barely lost my 350 shields. It's redicilous easy now. They just needed to tweak it, not like nerf to the ground. You can finish it niw with basic bunny with 0 additional cats.
Only thing invasions are worth to me is the coin you get. The invasion module thing with the “perks” is dogshit, pointless, makes no difference. I only have trouble with two bosses. My biggest issue with the bosses are the projectiles that follow you, it’s irritating, fucking irritating
I don't get the frustration. They are adding matchmaking to the invasions. They are also bringing a harder version of this for those who put a lot of time into their builds. It's a free to play game just relax until matchmaking arrives.
