Trying to keep in full rehearsal mode and do as much of the preventative up-keep up before playing Saturday
As we get closer to the event, Beverley and I are now leaving Crieff, and having dinner with friends in Edinburgh. Again, this is also important as it can keep you from losing focus. Changing things up just a wee bit can bring it back to fun/vs work
I hope you're liking the videos, if you have not done so yet, please subscribe to my channel as I am on a challenge from my marketing people to get up to 1000 subscribers by Saturday. Very simple- click on this link / @brucegandy
and follow along. Leave a comment, as simple as "I'm in" and we will know that you're there so you don't miss any new videos. thanks for watching.

Thank you for sharing your preparation wisdom in these videos. Fantastic reminders. Congratulations on your success!
Thank you so much!
wonderfully expressive playing there.
thanks a lot!!
Thanks for the tunes. Enjoy the event!
You bet!
Thanks for the video and tune. Good luck for London, hope you do well.
thanks very much!
Very interesting being inside your preparation Bruce, thank you for sharing, I’ll be in London so will definitely catch your performances. I hope all goes smoothly for you, I don’t say ‘good luck’ because I think it’s about more than that and you have to put yourself in the path of luck!
Cheers, on our way there now. Will be a busy day tomorrow for sure for both the players, AND, the listener, trying to get in to hear all of their faves
Immense drone sound, particularly in the Gillies Cup! Room filling! Well done, great overall results!
Recording yourself is an ear opening experience that is for sure. Love the suggestions and guidance, Bruce.
Thanks for listening
Thank You, Bruce! Your videos really help show how the concepts of your book are applied. I also love hearing your tunes are the end, in the rehearsal stage. All the best on Saturday!
Thanks Mary. I find talking a bit about the procedure can help to sort of solidify the process and helps you to actually think about it for real.
I'm in.
Thanks June!
Loving these video Bruce! keep them coming! Great tips and tricks and I love hearing your approach, great format too with the tunes at the end. Rooting for you!
Will try for another, I feel it may just be audio as I"m having difficulty getting set up for everything video , while in travel mode. Glad you're enjoying these
thanks very much
What was the name of the strathspey, soundhound thought it was Dora MacLeod but it did seem to match the Scots Guard setting of the tune
Thanks Igor, the Strathspey is called Caledonian Society of London.
Hey Bruce, can you post your tune set at the end? I know the reel, but i cannot remember the name for the life of me.
Sure, The March was Abercairney Highlanders, the Strathspey-Caledonian Society of London and the Reel was The Brown Haired Maid.
@@brucegandy ahhh the brown haired maid!!! Thanks, was driving me nuts.
