It's unbelievable how much equipment TSO tours with-- times two, East and West Coat groups. The guys who get the set-up and tear-down down to an art and a science get the deepest respect from me. I don't fully understand how they get it all down like this, but I hope one of these days I'll run into a tech at the Seattle show and be able to tell him. how impressive their work is, and how much the show, the musicians and the crew do for us each year.
Road crew does an amazing job. and comes up with the set idea. I would like to see a time lapse of last year's tour.
Trans-siberian orchestra you are a awesome band my friend 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I have the greatest respect for your road crew. The sound and light shows are amazing. Kudos to those remarkable people!
This was my first ever concert and boy did I love it!
Amazing show and amazing talent in all areas! Kudos to the road crew - thanks everyone!
Probably one of the best stage and lighting configurations to date !
2019... absolutely destroyed anything they've ever done... I can't fathom how they'll ever top it. Just saw them last night in Charlottesville VA.... It was AMAZING and it was my third time seeing them. Couple new songs... And they had a Freaking TESLA COIL with lighting bolts tuned to the music and it spat fire balls...... The amount of fire in general was way more than I've ever seen them to do. Was almost hot in there, and you could smell the gun powder after the show everywhere.
OMG, this is so awesome. I did get to see a bit of it live after the Manchester, NH show in November, but this takes the cake! Hats off the the amazing TSO road crew and the ever brillant Bryan Hartley!
Amazing show!
WOW!!!! Lets hear it for the roadies!!!
I love Trans Siberian orchestra
I was told at the Spokane show it took two hours to unload and setup sexteen tractor trailors. fantastic show
16 Trucks. Beginning of tour 8 hours to build, focus, tweak. End if tour 5-6 hours. Time Lapse shot using GoPro Hero 2s. The shot of Derek is a Hero 3 Black Edition.
Amazing video!!! Thanks!
AMAZING !!
If anyone is wondering, this show was in philly- Wells Fargo center. I can tell by the layout of the arena.
there were 2 different arenas they showed; 0:53 and wfc was 2:53
That's definitely not Philadelphia There's No banners hanging and the seats are not that color and the arena is a much different configuration
A lot of arenas have very similar layouts
very cool indeed!
They're ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
And this was AMAZING!!!👍👍💝💝💝
What a fun time lapse! Do that again!👍🏻
Spettacolo
Passione
Lavoro
VITA
When they show the crowd near the end, there's a guy kind of to the right who just sits there texting, holding a few seats. Then it looks like he gets frustrated and goes to find (presumably) his parents who get there just in time for the show. I kind of lol'd at that.
hoping you guys come to Chicago a weekend im home from college so i can go again!! went 4 years in a row but couldn't last year due to the date!
I remember this show
In Oklahoma
My dad actually won front row seats for the 2012 or 2013 show, but I would recommend back seats so you can see the lights
This is CAPITAL PRODUCTIONS in Manchester New Hampshire at the Verizon Wireless Arena, most of the bodies you see are LOCALS the tour crew supervises and directs the locals
What is the actual amount of time this took? I am always amazed and wondering on how fast it takes to set up such a massive and complicated stage each year!
I hate I won’t be able to see it this year. Damn hip replacement
Great video. How many frames per minute are you GoPros shooting at?
Imagine what the instructions must look like lol.
How long did it really take, and how many trucks do you have to hold everything?
GOING TONIGHT FOR MY 14TH HOW!
2012 was better than any other shows...including 2013 and 2014
Oh stop it 2014 was the best
seen 20012, liked 2017 better
I read set-up takes approximately 9 hours from start to soundcheck, ..
+Wayne Henker I think even less. Arrive at 5 or 6 AM or so, and be ready for soundchecks by noon. Tear-down is super-quick, I've looked in while waiting for the meet-and-greet, or after leaving it, and found things in an advanced state of disassembly.
if i remember hearing correctly, yes they are sharpys
How many people total tour with TSO including the road crew and performers?
Good question,Don't really know but IT'S ALOT ! [....my guess would be "68".]
36 ... estimated. I counted the current members and it's about 36 members.
:-)
Anthony Dailey I'll ask "back-stage" in Ontario [Nov.29th] & I'll get back to you ....
I was at one of the shows tonight (AMAZING btw) and one of the performers said, just the set up crew alone is about 100 members.
Not as many as you would think... The band members of course, including the choir and such - which probably makes up - say, 20 people... Then, the KEY crew also travel with them - usually Production and Company stage managers, lighting supervisor, sound supervisor, and possibly a few assistants.
Beyond that, the 'road crew' that you see setting up the shows are local IATSE members in each city they tour.
