Yes, I agree.. Although some songs they release are decent, I'm totally in love with Gaerea.. everything from their music to their artistic imagery. They may not be as "skilled" on their instruments as Behemoth, but being skilled does not equate to meaningful and vision in songs.

Badass atmospheric black metal. In terms of melody and sound this track reminds me quite a bit of "The River ov Knives" by Worm Shepherd in a good way haha
Fair warning from experience. Once you fall down the atmospheric or depressive atmospheric black metal rabbit hole, there's virtually no getting out. And it...is...awesome!

If you want to check out other stuff from them, i recomend "Conspiranoia" from their last album "Limbo". It is a masterpiece and i knoe you will like it!
Time to get rid of the stereotypes of black metal being satanic or hateful. This is purely existencial pilosophy in music form. The ultimate expression of pain and agony. Essencially, this is a mirror for the inner hidden part of all of us. This is the essence of black metal. The rest is a joke.
