OMG...it's like you read my mind lol. We're staying at Cabana Bay when we come in June and after seeing this, I know I picked the right hotel. Probably won't get a Volcano Bay view since I got the family suite poolside but maybe another visit lol! And thank you thank you for going inside the gift shop. I collect fridge magnets so I hope I'm able to find one for both Universal and Cabana Bay!
Pool Side should still be nice and that's awesome you got a family suite! Definitely try food outside of the hotel too. Was just ok, there is much better places to go. Hope you have the best stay 🤩

Oh wow! Well maybe we should give their dinner a chance. What did you try? 😊 I just thought breakfast was ok, but we preferred the Today Cafe personally for breakfast. If given the option.

The pizza at red oven is wayyyy better! We ate that almost every night!
We thought so too! The pizza at Cabana Bay was just ok. Red Oven wins, at least our opinion! We just stayed at Portofino Bay too, working on that vlog now. Pizza there was just ok. Red Oven is still better 😅
Hi did they charge you a security hold deposit when you checked in ? if so how much ?
No. No security deposit. However, when we ordered pizzas for room service, they put a $75 hold to the room when the pizza was $54. So just a warning for that.
What was the outside temp when you went? I'm planning a trip for last week in November.
November should still be pretty hot. Probably 80s. When we went, it only got cold at night, like 60s. But this was Jan/Feb weather
When I went in November of last year the weather was like 75-80 degrees during the day but it got cold at night. There were days where it was super windy. I would say pack some jackets just in case!
@Asafumas great advice! It's honestly best to be safe, because you never know with this weather here.
Like above said, definitely pack a mix just in case!

Oh noooo. So sorry it is closed 🥺 Are you going to Volcano Bay at all? I know you can resort pool hop too but I believe it's the only hotel with a lazy river.
