Love newborn monkey I never understood why Calvin's mother abandoned him is because he's a new because he is a hybrid is that why she got rid of him

Was he a hybrid? He didn't look like one, but who knows. I think mom abandoned him because he had a type of monkey downs syndrome or perhaps he was the product of inbreeding.
