Wow, to hear music coming out of those speakers... That would be something... Enjoy the scares, but keep sight of the joy of the 50's! Those songs have an innocence that probably couldn't happen at any other time.
Innocence?.. idk.. Rocket 69, 60 minute man?, Pink cadillac? Dean Beards Party Party? You might want to double check that lol 😅 But yes! Legendary speaker sounds all around 🙌

This is going the extra mile (no pun intended) to play these tunes via AM on the radio of Christine's cousin and so wonderful to listen to - Very well done :)
A song I'd like to hear thorough this radio is The Falling Pebbles 1968 hit "I Wanna See Her Sit'n My Mate's Chair", which came out ten years after Christine was born.
Reminds me of my first car. A 1963 Plymouth with the underpowered but reliable slant 6. Would barely climb the grapevine hill at 50 mph. Paid $300. in 1970. FM? Hahahahah. . . .
Did you have the 2 speed automatic? My car has the flathead 6 (2nd to last year before slant 6) and the 2 speed. High ratio rear gives it decent acceleration at low speeds, but it's screaming by 60mph. Top end is in the 80s, but I have never pushed that.
Girl that call that call is actually possessed I don't know if you saw that though but look on the on the video on the I said almost like the end of the song the Kenwood glitches

I’m genuinely wondering why your first thought it was Bluetooth. That wasn’t a thing when these cars were made. It very well could’ve been regular radio.
@@ArnieCunningham-wm4sw I know but I’ve seen conversions to turn these into Bluetooth radios that’s likely originally an AM band only radio as FM was either really new or didn’t exist yet

@@brianandcindy1 Hey thank you! Can you tell me where I can get one, here I only have FM transmitters but no AM and I would like to have the radio play again in my old box from 1956 ;-) Unfortunately I don't have a 1958 Plymouth, because yours gives me goosebumps!🙃😬
@@brianandcindy1 that's actually interesting. Christine has been a dream car for a long time. This makes me want a 58 fury even more. And that radio sounds good, I'd have to say I like the vintage sound more than the sound of radios today. And headphone jack? I take it the radio isn't quite original

Awesome 👌 I wish I could have a car like that because I totally would be doing the same. Hell yeah
Christine is my favorite movie
For Halloween next year or whatever have the kids get in the car shut the door when the music kicks in out of nowhere that would be hilarious😂😂

Die cast that I got it's great
Try play some pop songs on that '58, wonder how will a 1950s sound system do with modern music.
Probably ruin it, those stereo systems can't handle bass. And most music nowadays no matter what genre has a bunch

Not sure, but it is definitely not original speakers. But I have a truck with a very nice Bose system that doesn't sound nearly this good on AM radio.
These had a 5X7 up in the Dash, 6X9 in the back if they had a rear speaker.
Quick question, does the transmitter override the other signal from the radio station or do both come through
The transmitter can be adjusted within a range. You just find a tuning that doesn't have a competing station.
