Last point captures all what is so unique about Boll only Waldner is in that league of ball handling and creativity. He pulls of shots that are simply on no ones mind , seem impossible and he makes winning shots against Top10 opponents out of that. The windhield wiper is simply for anyone playing a little TT just out of this universe.
The chinese are the strongest ones in parts because they copied Boll to a T but they are boring robots without any personality outside of Xu Xin (sorry but thats just what it is). Waldner and Boll to me are the olymp of creative table tennis. He will be an incredible coach with his deep insight into the game and open minded approach.
Beware guys even at 41 he changed a lot at his style , no ever did at this point in their careers, and came back at 42 not only defeating but dominating three top 10 players to win Doha. Incredible.. I do hope he gets a place for the Olympic mens singles. It will be hard to get for hima gainst Ovtcharov and Quiu.

Tell me, WTT, does anyone of you play tabletennis ? Point #2 against Fan is an incredible save of Fan at first, not a good point of Timo. Timo takes advantage because of the net and wins the point. The last ball of Fan wasn’t so far from the table. It‘s well played but for sure not one of the Top 5 points.
