I bought the harrier pure plus s dark variant. After 2 days of the delivery the vehicle started showing its colours as there was a gearbox freeze that comes after 4th gear. It happened twice in 10 days and i needed to call the showroom and ask them to fix it. It was fixed but buying a new car and leaving it in showroom after 2 days for its gear issues have made me lose faith in the car for long drives now.
Hearing umpteen cases of electrical system failures and miserable after sales support. I so much wanted to buy the pure plus s variant but now gravitating towards XUV 700 or Hector.
Spending 30 big ones on a TaMo product who's manufacturing lines are still full of unions and government employee type people who're not scared of loosing their jobs if they don't perform well and do a really shoddy work is like shooting yourself in the head by betting on a QC-less product.
Good video overall. One more test you can add is driver comfort test which can include seating position, back support and nvh felt from driver seat after driving for 30-60mins or so.

Fiat deisel engine is much better tuned for performance then even tata's 2.0 ltr and 2.2 ltr dicore deisel engines.. Tata ki engine running ki baat Kar rha hun..1.5 ltr deisel engine in nexon should perform better then harrier considering the sheer size and weight difference between both the cars..but the story is actually different..
Still it lacks the 4wd or AWD drive line which is quite disappointing as even after having the OMEGA ARC/D8 platform it isn't able to utilise its full potential. Even scorpio n is equipped with it and still costs less. In terms of feature its lacking Lane keep assist as lane departure warning isn't safe enough even xuv 700 which costs less have this. overall as a family its the perfect choice but still for offroading its not good enough. I know 4wd isn't used that regularly but that 1% of the time when you are seriously stuck you are definitely gonna miss it. Anyways this is still a lot better than previous one. Kudos to TATA motors for this upgrade.

The drivers side wiper has an issue in all harriers. Massive a pillar and during rains the restricted swipe of the wiper on the drivers side would just make driving worse.
Acceleration is not good for its segment .. Should be quicker by atleast 3 secs to 100kmph The 2.2L mHawk diesel engine in XUV 7OO propels it from standstill to 100 kmph in 9.99 secs !
But you feet in front- limited space to spread also your legs are ahead of your seat and in back the seat you can't move your feet back- very uncomfrotable, 2nd row does not recline either.. and gear shift automatic is not clean..
What’s the point, a big vehicle like this, at this price point should at least have 4 wheel drive, namesake SUV are becoming a plague for this country.

Surprisingly it is slightly quicker then Deisel nexon..Clear difference between a fiat deisel engine and Tata's Deisel engine..
