Yeah, it is very logical that the position of the rear suspension linkages will make the spray from the rear tire go straight into them. I guess that small rear fender does not help a lot in that regards?
Yep the larger fender helps, which is why Forbidden offered them as a free upgrade but tbh I never had any issues which effected the suspension operation. Perhaps over time the bearings may have worn out faster but who knows..

However it looks like in size M chainstays are rather short and this will probably break the deal. All the best, ride well!
Do you prefer 27.5 / 29er or Mullet?
Mullet all day ! I’ve rode both . If you like going fast, hitting jumps and steeps, mullet is the way
I'm set on the mullet bikes now, it's the best of both for sure!
