That’s so sweet. When I was 21 I prayed to God for a mate. I said a silent prayer. I remember hearing a Bible talk about prayer it said be specific in your prayer tell God what you want. And don’t speak it out loud keep it to yourself. Because Satan answers prayers also for the wrong reasons. Satan can’t hear your thoughts only God can. Satan only see’s your actions. So pray silently and when the prayer is answered you know it’s from God. With that being said. I prayed, and I was very specific. At the time all my friends were getting married and of course I wanted too. So I ask God for a mate . But send me a sign God so I can know then I said better yet let me say what the sign should be so I want have to be guessing if this is it. So I said the man that kisses my left hand is the man you want me to marry. Ok I said Amen and it’s like instantly I forgot what I prayed for. I feel the reason I forgot is because I probably would have tried to get any man to kis my left hand. I met a few men I was even engaged at 25 but I broke it off because it just didn’t feel right. That prayer did not come to mind. 30 nothing, still looking for Mr. Right. I’ve met couple a of nice guys and some I really liked but of course nothing happened.. so one day a gentleman called from another city and explained to me that a mutual friend gave him my number and he saw a picture of me so he decided to call me. I was hesitant but we talked and it turned into 3 months without seeing each other. I was 34 at the time. I grew fond of him an I really wanted to meet him because I never seen his face. We met at his sisters house wow he was handsome lol. We had a lot of things in common even spiritually, that’s great. So before he left to go home, because he lived in another city we went to say good bye. Mind you we never kissed just a friendly hello and embrace. He suddenly got on one knee grabbed my left hand and kissed it, and said have a wonderful day. OMG that prayer came rushing to my thoughts and to my heart. Oh God He kissed my left hand. He kissed my left hand. You God remembered my prayer. Is this the man you want me to marry. I headed to work right after and cried all the way their. God has answered my prayer. We been married for 22 years and more years to come. Sorry fo such a long comment just wanted to share. So I believe in their story 🥰
Wow thats great and i saod my prayer just as you did and God answered my prayer many many years later on my wedding day. I asked him and he said trust me. He did answer only at wedding reception.

I have a question. Why is it rare for people to fall in love with and hook up with their childhood friends? Most married couples first met each other when they were adults, and a large portion of married couples first met each other when they were teenagers, and only a small portion of married couples first met each other when they were children (under the age of 13 years old).

My 5 year old son, proposed to his classmate two weeks ago. He is so happy that she said yes. Next month will be their last month in pre school :(. He's very concerned because she hasn't been going to school.

I just love this. They were meant for each other. Their hearts were glued even when they lost contact. A true love fairy. They are both cool and calm. I wish them all the best in life.
I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death.
I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse.
People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it

My son just married his former classmate from preschool in October 2020 and she's wonderful. They reconnected as adults and started dating and now we're family. :-)

This is truly rare. Most people don't find their soul mate, much less meeting them in pre-school. Many people date / live together / get married / think they've found "the one" but they are mistaken. That's why the divorce rate is so high around the world and there are so many broken relationships. Also when you stay married because you're "used" to it or "don't want to start over," etc., it's still the same thing as not having met your soulmate. Many relationships are also one-sided (one person loving their partner more than they love you and/or doing more for their partner). I think most people don't have this chance in their lifetime. I just absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this story!!! Sad to say, I'm one of those people who never had this chance and probably never will but it's so refreshing and beautiful to see that TRULY TRUE LOVE still exists!

No I didn’t encounter my husband that young but we met when I was 15 but I barely remember him. I was 17 and he saw my picture on my friends page and asked to be introduced. We talked on the phone once and met up two days later and been inseparable ever since. He knew I was the one from the jump. I’m 31 now and it’s been an amazing 14 years. Me and mine we were in love when we were 11 years old. We both lost in touch for 39 years. We both been searched for each other all these years. We found each other again but sadly he still married and I am a divorced. It hurts so much that we didn’t meant to be. All the love memories we shared were just a dream.

In 1975 Karlsruhe Germany I was 9 yrs. & lived across the hall from Sandra she had long brown wavy hair, big blue eyes and long eyes lashes. Both of us were the only child. Our family often had dinner together. She would come play in my room sometime we played house under the blanket. That’s when she like to give me kisses on my cheeks. In 1976 my family got station to Fort Hood Texas. Each new school year I’d keep an eye out hoping that her family would get sent to the same place & that we would run into each again. Sadly I never saw Sandra again. Till this day I still remember exactly what she look like & have never forgotten about her. Your story just reminded me more of her.

I have a similar case. Not as young as these but me and my wife decided we'd be married when we were about 13 in school as soon as legally possible. We married young and had 2 kids and are still together aged 37. If they are the one you know.
