I’m still intimidated by the ringlets though theyre so beautiful 😭
I'm working on a (not AG) wig right now (kinda remaking it for my AG Doll) I touch it up with water, LIGHTLY, as I go to keep the Static under control. Would you say that AG Doll hair becomes staticy w/o a light water brush now and again? I really liked this Video. I have a My Size Disney Belle, I use a comb on EACH, one at a time, curl; Then, twist it like you do. GREAT point to tell people not to brush it. It shows that you take really good care of your dolls.
Dolls Rescued I notice that the hair does tend to get frizzy if I don’t touch it up but nothing major since I only display them. When I used to do more with them I had to fix their hair a couple times a week. The water has always saved me!
Omg I love your video thank you so much for making this but I’m still a little scared I just got American girl Julie and she has like the most easy hair ever but I either want Courtney next or joss and I love the 80s so I really want Courtney and I have a wig wire out generation brush witch works wonders so I really don’t want Courtney’s hair to be a birds nest so I was wondering could you method work with her to please give me advice I really need to know and like I love doing doll hair and I know that county has so many hair styles so I hope you can help because she has a very unique hair type so I will resist the urge to not use a brush oh and could you end up making her hair straight I’m just wondering thx
When I was 5 yrs I got my first doll and I did not take care of it even though I used water and a metal ag brush. My doll’s hair is SO frizzy and non smooth, do you have like a trick you do if you could fix that?
I ordered courtney too! And her hair has gotten frizzy 😮, and I'm so scared I will brush the curls out!! The other doll I have is the early kit. So no idea how to care for courtney's hair
@@nancykenyon2778 Oh, you dont need to nessecarily brush them, but to tame the frizziness, my method is to spray the curls with water, take a paintbrush or pencil and twist the hair around it. Wait about thirty second, then slowly remove the paintbrush, and PRESTO! A perfect curl. Just do the whole head and it'll look good as new and if the ends are still frizzy, take an unused tooth brush and brush the ends with the bristles around your fingers and its all good :)
My Caroline dolls hair is a mess because when I got her my mom said to be very careful with them so I left them in there box for a few years and left there hair in the net and it became a mess but now I use them and now it makes me upset😔
I am so strange with how I take care of wavy doll hair, first I use the pick and then the brush, I don't know if I am just stupid but I can never seem to get it smooth with just the brush, the brush always seemed to snag a bit on little knots and pull more than I would like, I don't know if anyone else has this problem or I am just silly. But yes I use the pick for them peasky tiny knots the brush likes to snag on, then I will brush it out fully with the brush. I also personally don't use a brush on curls as it seems to destory the curl pattern to me, all the wigs I have done it on ended up with the curls being werid shapes (though they arent ag wigs so maybe just the quality

What do you do about the flyaways on the tight curls?
The best way is to push them down with a (clean) tooth brush! It works really well!
