Hey man quick question! I watch your channel and fan of yours on UA-cam. So got a new door and want to gel stain it but need to cover screw holes up. What kind of sparkle I use and do I prime it with what after? Thanks man!!👍😊
Did you end up doing this and if so how’d you deal with the screw holes? 😃I know this comment is like a year old but they say it never hurts to ask, lol
How long do you let it sit before wiping it off?
You should always tape off your brake lines when gel staining a door. The slightest amount of overlap screw up everything up
You can also clean up your brake lines with acetone

It's not necessary to wipe off any of the product?
Why did you spray stain on the door after you had already stained it by hand?
BOSSE'S be like "WE" while they are watching someone else work. You meant He.
Can this be done on a door that does not have o wood grain pattern to it?
As far as using a gel stain...no
It must be a textured fiberglass door
Yes but then you are talking faux wood grain.
Lots of success using a [quality] foam brush...easy to do
Is it a wood grain door?
Doest tells what kind of brush what he is spraying on what brand of finish this videos sucks
Must be from Minnesoooooota. 🤣😂
Not enough explanation.
Don't bother watching.
I think this guy gets paid by the hour. Would be quicker to wipe on with a clean rag.
He is doing it correctly. I have finished two fiberglass doors and you apply it with a brush or a sponge
@@tracietv2 how do remove or change the stain 5 years later?
False
