Are your Design-Pro Fir doors actually made with a Doug-fir veneer?
Or, do they have a fiberglass shell with and embossed surface to mimic Doug-fir?

Impeccable work. The minwax gel stain doesn't do as nice a job as this from what I can tell.

What did you end up using? I just applied oil based with a foam brush and got little bubbles. Does it need to be water based stain?

how do you let the stain dry for up to 48 hrs. so i don't have a door for 48 hours. seems ridiculous.
