I worked at Lush HQ in the UK for around 4 years. Awesome place to work, amazing people (apart from a fair few who’ve been in the company for a long time), and you’re pretty much left to work how you want. So many memories that I’ll cherish forever.
I only left because I got so annoyed with their poor ethics and waste, oh the waste, which is apparently what they’re against! Awesome place to work and I’d recommend it to anyone, but as a company they so many double standards especially when you see it all from the inside.
Can you expand more on the waste. The fact that they recycle is what draws me to the company

I loved LUSH and it was such a healthy start to good skin care and learning about natural products! When I used all their skin care I needed it and it helped my skin so much! But I agree, your skin matures and you want different results after awhile :) especially if your skin has stabilized and now you’re looking for better ways to treat discoloration, scars, or brighten the skin

Hi! im new to skincare and wanted to know is lush a good brand for beginners? my face doesn't have a lot of acne it gets oily really quickly tho so idk what products from lush do I use? :)
I loved lush bc it was the only thing that could help my severe eczema but it’s just ridiculous how expensive it is for tiny bottles, they never intended on actually helping people but providing high end lotions only few people can actually afford. It’s just not convenient when there’s other things on the market with probably the same ingredients for way cheaper

I was really into lush skincare but got into looking at ingredients/what actually works for my skin and found other better products. I love that its vegan and cruelty free but I'm just not loving the ingredients anymore (still love oatifix though).

For a person who used to love and recommend to the death the Celestial moisturizer, I feel like you explained everything a bit too quick in this video - especially as the title would make you think you were going to explain all the routine you now use in this one, not in a future video. I want to know more about the idea of your skin being more sensitive due to Lush and what are you using now and how exactly your skin has improved. I also like Celestial a lot and have yet to find a good moisturizer that tops it. Also, I don't believe Celestial has perfume in it. Or I personally did not see it mentioned in the ingredients list.
Lush is really behind on fragrance free skincare it’s kind of wild that they are bc they are so forward thinking. Have you tried the new(ish) orange body scrub or any of the shower bombs?

It’s also so important for me to stay away from fragrance in my skin care too, that stuff is notorious for making me breakout 🥲
I worked in a Lush store for 2 years and we were asked to try as many of the products so we make better sales numbers. But honestly after around a year I couldn't sell skin care with a good conscious anymore. Except for two moisturiser they are packed with cocoa butter, shea butter and coconut oil which clog your pores no matter how dry your skin is. It destroyed my skin (oily skin with a huge tendency to acne) and I thought if I use more cleansing products it will work out. But Lush doesn't school you about comedogen fats and oils so well I only could sell my regulars more cleansing products because I didn't know better. It was a coincident that I had to buy a non-Lush moisturiser and in less than a week my skin didn't look like I just hit puberty anymore. So that's that.
I'm under the impression Lush is like the Twilight franchise (where no one hates it more than the cast of the movies): no one hates Lush products more than former employees.

I used to LOVE Lush skincare. But slowly I started to use other products and the only thing that I love using was "9 to 5". It was the only oil cleanser that had just enough oil in it to get rid of the stuff on my face, but it didn't leave my face oily after wiping it off, which was a problem I had with other oil cleansers. Just recently I heard that they discontinued it and decided to get "Ultraplant" but, again, to oily. Once I finish ultraplant, I think thats when I'll just finally stop using Lush. If there are any oil cleaners like 9 to 5, please let me know!
Yes 9 to 5 was my ride or die. I have used it for years and was so sad to find out they stopped making it. Was gentle enough on my skin but still removed my makeup and left my skin feeling soft. Now I’m looking for another product too

@@JaclynForbes your welcome I have American cream too and I am in love! Also mrs whippy had come back as a bubble bar and online exclusive. They brought a whole new batch of online exclusive bubble bars and most of the bubble bars you got were part of it.
I use a lot of the Ordinary, combined with herbalism cleanser and the eye cream from lush. The only skincare from lush that works wonders for my acne. All the cleansers I tried make my acne worse.
I still love LUSH body wash - the smells are divine

I have psoriasis on my scalp, so I use wasabi, Superbalm treatment, and the big conditionioner bar since theirs zero alcohol. Trick to Superbalm is apply to dry hair BEFORE your shower onto your itchy spots. THEN get in shower and shampoo and conditioner. I have extremely long hair that I wash once a week, due to psoriasis, and theirs bad reviews because people don’t know how to use it correctly. It’s the best thing that works on my scalp. I’m also in love with magic crystals, and volcano foot mask with the pumice rub. I’m a sucker. I have pansy perfume and lotion, lots of misrule perfume and body wash, and rose jam of course. I have the beauty mask on my face now. The big conditioner bar is amazing for my scalp since it has zero alcohol to go along with my wasabi. Everything is sold out an it’s driving my crazy! Silky underwear is one of my favorites too! I love dream cream, Ros argan, I’m obsessed! I use the morning moringa, and the imperilis moisturizer, along with the enchanted eye cream and breath of fresh air! Herbalism and angels on bare skin is definitely a favorite too. I love happy hippie myself lol I’m a UA-camr, so my lush collection is growing slowly but surely. I got the outback mate for my old man lol I have the hot pink lush tin to put them all in. I have the rose jam full size body spray, and the mini one, along with the solid perfume. I want death and decay and devils snare perfume so bad!

I got dream cream for my dry skin areas and for some reason it would sting so bad, I just don't know why and honeslty the smell is also a little off putting but yeah, I don't think the skin creams from lush are the best option for all, but defo love their massage bars and soaps

Just curious (if you feel comfortable sharing, no pressure) why you purchase non-vegan products? Since people associate your channel with veganism, it might be helpful to disclose in videos if products you’re sharing aren’t vegan so people don’t mistakenly purchase non-vegan products thinking they’re vegan.
