Every damn game channel on UA-cam is reviewing this product today, lmao. No one paid for this, and I can't afford it either 😅
yeah lol. I dont know what anyone else said about them, but I personally wouldn't buy these as I think they are a bit too pricey and I wouldn't get much use out of them... But they are among the best XR glasses I have tried... Ive used a few different pairs and these are pretty nice at least.
@@pepsipoint I have xreal glasses. The whole 120" screen from whatever distance is not how it feels. It feels more like a 24" screen 2 feet from your face.
@@Madlittlepixeljust curious, do these support HDR in windows?
@@pepsipoint you own the new Viture pros? Would you mind telling me, are they HDR compatible for windows gaming? Been asking around everywhere, haven't got an answer yet.
@@pepsipoint that accessory wouldn't determine whether it's HDR capable or not. If you're saying you couldn't get it to diaplay an HDR signal then it's likely SDR only.
Thanks for the quick, fun review! We're glad you're enjoying VITURE Pro. 😎
I have te Viture one and they are amazing! Literally can't live without them with my Switch and Steam Deck
can you explain what's the point of the doc station, does it give you three monitors?
@@BlobBlobkins It's a must have for Nintendo Switch because Switch doesn't support direct dp output to the glasses. The dock also provides extra 6-7 hours battery life and it allows connecting to 2 pairs of glasses so you can play coops like Mario Kart and whatnot
Having been using their last generation viture one for a year. It's part of my life now: )
Finally, I can play a switch or steam deck portably!
Ron, you ended with my favorite clip from Trover! I only played through 1/3 of that game, but I’ve rewatched that line on UA-cam many times.
I tried the lite pair a few months ago. The refresh rate was pretty good. Had it hooked up to a computer and was watching videos.
That controller kinda looks like the Steam Deck OLED Limited color way.
I've always been curious about getting something like these to build a personal HUD, complete with Google maps minimap, daily schedule, and such to help keep me on task in my ADHD life.
These things are just going to be fun to have, I think. And big clunky VR glasses that completely isolate you from your surroundings don’t interest me at all. I have two big screen TVs, but I still want to try these. It’s gotta be nice to play PC games on, and to play movies while in bed. They might get a little dusty from time to time, but that’s ok. I’ll buy a pair for XMas this year, and probably again in a few years when they improve them substantially.
If it was priced better id get one of these to use as my work monitor
459 dollars
@@Gg56328 exactly
I got these during the Kickstarter campaign for about $200 for the glasses and Switch dock. Seems good enough. The cable from the glasses is USB-C so I was able to use Samsung Dex with it as the second monitor. In that use-case, you wouldn't need the neckband but any bluetooth controller is pretty necessary. I ended up getting the neckband later from ebay last winter to save money but it's hard to justify any cost for this system if you can't try before you buy
Seems to be a cool device...not sure if I'd really want to use it. But its interesting for sure. Problem with a product like this...I need/want to use it first before buying it.
$600 omg!!! It is cool, but I'm cool. Thanks for the review tho.
Right i was thinking 250 and id check it ouf but for that price I'd just buy a new tv
I got these 421 with a promo which is always there to use. Not bad deal with you asked me. But ill be seeing if these truly are any better then the first, cause the first were not that good imo.
I sent mine back the same day. Super over hyped imo. If you have a quest thats all you need.
Does it work with 3d Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray? Have you tested this?
Nobody is talking about the 3D features 🤦🏾.. I just brought them and dock and I’ll try it oit myself
I want to know if this can watch 4K Blu-ray. If you pirate a film or record your own of course it will work. But if you try to watch a 4k disk of a movie you legally buy from a store and try to watch it with a 4K blu ray player then your monitor has to support hdcp 2.2 security protection. Which for the record a PS5 disk doesn't have this security protection requirement and thus games will work fine on more things then 4K Blu-rays will
It DOES look amazing. Unlike other comments, the price doesn't phase me as much. Top of the range mobile phones are 1.5k+ when they come out, VR headsets are about half that, and that's for mass produced consumer hardware. I can't believe they do huge volumes of these so the price doesn't seem unreasonable.
If I was an international business guy that spent a lot of time in airport lounges and on planes then I would probably pick up a pair. When it gets to the point of clarity I can code with it and ditch the monitor then I will. Until then...
Phillip.
Hey Ron, what about its size? Is it big-headed folks friendly?
(I watched a couple of these reviews and noone addresses this detail)
Dude's head doesn't _look_ very wide to me (probably fairly average) and yet these glasses still appear pretty narrow on him. I'm going to guess these are NOT big head friendly.
These would be great for gaming on an intercontinental flight.
wanted to get a xreal pair of glasses but for the price, id rather get the quest 3
Those are cool VR glasses but with the price just wait for something better to come out and maybe those glasses will be cheaper to buy.
Play toad treasure tracker on switch is it fully VR
Best review of these things Ive seen it would be fun to own but not at that price lol
How is it for reading text? I found using my Rokid glasses that the edges are blurry and reading text is a pain.
It looks like an older version of the Nreal Air glasses (now called Xreal). Looks like the older Nreal, probably thicker, but the marketing is geared towards gamers. I need to see a comparison of this against the Xreal Air 2 glasses...I cant imagine it could be any better but could be wrong
I want it 🥺
Does their logo look like the analogue logo, just flipped upside down??
Most these types of glasses are a pain to hookup to the switch like it’s an after thought. Smart for them to go directly to consumers who have been skated by other brands
They look small on people's heads, do they feel small or are they comfortable?
it blows me away that i still have to ware glasses with vr my eyes cant be bothers to see far but i assumed because its a screen on my head i wouldent need to ware them its weird
I will wait for the JVC version... McFly!!! Hello!!! ⏰ ⚡☢️
Could I buy that 8bitdo controller from you if you decide to sell it?
I wonder how my mirgranes would handle these? I also have bad eye's. Do you feel eye strain/tiredness or headache?
If you can find someone with a similar VR (not this AR) headset you'll probably get a good gist.
I just want the 8bitdo controller for my Steam Deck Oled
The controller is switch pro controller layout
Holy $600 batman
My thoughts exactly.
A novelty item that I'd love to have, but can think of many other things I'd buy if I had the money. So, basically, I need to get really rich, then I'll have a pair.
Should try virtual boy emulation on it 😂
How about the edges? Is it really true they are no longer blurry?
Having just watched 5 other reviews on the same product, yes they are no longer blurry.
Phillip.
What's it like playing Super Mario Land with these?
Why you copying me madlittle :P I just got a pair too. I used them last night. At first I was like how do I use them on win and realised its not ready yet so I was like "forget these"... but did more research on how to use on steam deck... used them for the first time last night and I enjoyed my experience.... Oh i got the Xreal ones my bad.
That price HELL NO! I can buy a OLED Display for that much
Doesn’t sound like you will use it.. how do I buy it from you brudda ;)
Sold like a week ago lol.
@@Madlittlepixel Sheeeet. My man, straight up hustlin 💪
C’mon who are they marketing to lol? These companies should realize that gamers are the CHEAPEST people on Earth and we’re always looking for a bargain 😂😂
Another device to give you vertigo while ▶️ playing Hardspace on the Steam 🚂 Deck .....
Everyone is reviewing it. Lol.
Not for me, though.
cheaper to buy a big screen TV and a chair to sit close ridiculous
Cool. But hard pass for me.
🦍
too small and round lenses. auto fail 🤣
Can't justify the price.
Werd!
These are LITERALLY all over the place, all over your face!
Man they look goofy.
Good for privately playing Hentai games on Steam 🚂 and Switch OLED!? 😂🤪
If it was like 150 for the pro.....id think about it. But no way i need these for that price.
Harmon on mobile is garbage.
Meh,
"The biggest advantage of the Pro XR glasses over the Viture One is light output. Viture says it raised the perceived brightness from 500 nits to 1,000 nits, which puts the glasses in line with the levels required to adequately view lots of high dynamic range (HDR) content. For comparison, the Rokid Max glasses go up to just 600 nits."
Does this mean the Pro XR is recognised as a HDR capable display when connected to a windows PC?
