This video made me feel so cosy inside. Lately i have fallen out of love with the never ending treadmill of new, viral stuff on youtube that no one can keep up with and that you never hear about a month after the release. Instead, this is so special because we all have these same treasures in our draws and took me right back to those early days watching you when i was living at home with my parents during school. So appreciate you sticking to what is actually good and stands the test of time. Sending
This was a great video. I am old enough to realize that newer is not always better. i love that you gave some tried and trues some love. Thank you for sharing. Great products.
Michelle, these are my favorite videos you do! You explain things so well, getting to the heart of what the product does and how it wears!. Love, love! Thanks.
NARS radiant creamy concealer (since its release!). RMS living luminizer highlighter. Chanel Boy lipstick. Anastasia brow gel. NARS Laguna. Same Viseart eyeshadow palette you mentioned. Chanel Ballerina nail polish. Love these products so much!
I just realized I have the majority of these products as the backbone of my makeup collection because of your recommendations from back in the day. I found your channel around 2017 when it was more difficult to find someone with the same features and skin tone as me.
I really enjoyed this video. It was fun to go back and remember how wonderful so many products are that we don't hear much about. I need to purchase some of these oldies but goodies.
This was so very comforting. We don’t share the same favourite products but resonate within the same space. There are products that have stood the test of time and ushered in the future.
Michele, such a great video!! So many of these products I still use and most likely you recommended in one of your past videos. I still use the Sisley bronzer, love the CDP cream blushes, Chantecaille gel blushes, TF bronzer/highlighter, Sisley lip crayon, Viseart eyeshadow palettes, Chanel lipglosses, Sisley orchid blushes. These have all been staple products in my collection. Love love this video! 😊❤️
Michele, I loved this video because it reminded me of when I started watching your channel in 2017 and all the products I grew to love and still use to this day like the Sisley Phyto-Lip Twists and Surratt Lip Sliques. Also the La Mer Skin Tint. Thanks!
Ahhh Michele, this video of yours really pulls my heartstrings hahaha x Really enjoyed listening to your luxury make up icons! Feels like a gift at this point of the day on Sunday with a typical gloomy English weather 😂
Filmstar! And Viseart! My favorites and go-to makeup for so many years. Glossimer! Happy cheek gloss. Oh my, you raided my tried-and-true makeup stash. What a lovely and confirming video. Thank you. I must try the Cle de Peau cream blushes.
Yay to this video. When will you do your favorites In Each category; as of today which includes old and new?I truly hope we can get a top 2 from Michele in each category. Truly want this news!!!!
There are some luxury products that are absolutely worth every dollar and others that I could live without. I think I might have to try the Surratt as I prefer a skin like finish over cakey and heavy
This is such great content! Thanks, Michele! For me, the oldies-but-goodies I continually return to include the No. 1 de Chanel foundation, (BR12) and the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow stick (I'm wearing Taupe and Golden Pink today). Love these!
The cle de peau stick concealer and highlighters! Great then, amazing now. Love the reformulations. And i love the cushion foundation as well, been using it since it was released.
Really good video! Would you consider doing a series of Oldies, but Goodies? Like go back into the archives once a month to show your old favorites new love? Or show stuff that you wish they didn't reformulate or discontinued? It was really wonderful seeing some these products getting love again. I still use the Cashmerie, which I bought based on your recommendations hahaha
Thanks Michele, never regretted any purchase off of your recommendation. Q: did you just line your lips or you tinted them with the lip liner before you applied the Chanel gloss, cause your lips look very dark
Yes I hate when they discontinue or reformulate products. I loveeed the Marc Jacob Gel skinny eyeliner then they discontinued it. 😭 Now I loveee Huda Beauty creamy kohl eyeliner. I have backups now. 🙏🏼🖤 thanks for sharing my lady. ❤️😘😘😘Sandy
What a great idea to Go down memory lane!❤ OMG Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate in 1. I love that contour. There’s so much product you get, it’s totally worth it.❤
Great video thank you! Surratt would definitely be my long term can’t live without. I was totally expecting you to include meteorites and surprised that you didn’t, but maybe you mentioned those in other recent videos.
My favs that I continue to repurchase: The OG stick concealer from Clé de Peau, Bobbi Brown Smokey Lash mascara, Chanel Stylo Ombre Electric Brown, Sisley Phyto Rouge beige Manhattan. I’ve had at least two each of the Surratt lipsliques in Hevyn and Eglantine - love the formula but not the delivery system
I love Viseart! I have that same pallet and it does stand the test of time. I am also eyeing the new one, VisePRO Sireneuse Étendu, a few mattes but some beautiful sparkly shades as well. As for what I have bought again is the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Concealer- it never creases on me and I hope it never gets discontinued. I do re purchase CT compact powder...and am about out of Givenchy powder which they have reformulated. SIgh...and we wont talk about Guerlain Pearls.... :( Great video MIchele! Have a great day 😊
Listen, I don’t have a lot of really luxury makeup, but one thing I can’t live without (8 years using it) is the Milani brow pomade. As a sparse-eyebrow girlie, that thing is MAGIC.
The Viseart palate has been my holy grail for years! I believe I have owned for at least 10 years and keep going back to it all the time. The formula is incredible, so blend able and easy to use.
So many still-great products! Nude Dip quad from TF is my OG, along with Boy Brow (a revelation when it came out), MAC Face and Body, and Clarins lip oil (remember all those British UA-camrs from back in the day using it??). Thanks for shining a light on non “viral” products!
I loved this video. Thank you for taking the time to share with us. It got me thinking about some of my test of time products- for me it is also the Chanel lip glosses, and Tom Ford fibre brow gel. Mac eyeshadow in “All that Glitters” is one of the first Mac products I ever purchased. I remember I was in my first year of university and I picked the shadow out. Every time I left Mac I felt exhilarated, spending $17CAD on an eyeshadow seemed outrageous. I was 18 years old at the time and now I can tell you, over 18 years later I am still wearing All that Glitters, still repurchasing it, still loving it. I last repurchased it this past Summer and could not believe that the shadow cost $38CAD as a single. Nonetheless, I was just as excited to buy it as I was when I was 18. It is just the constant shadow I have gone back to after nearly 2 decades of being a makeup lover. ❤
Wonderful video. I also love Surratt! For base, the Chanel water fresh tint and the newer water fresh touch have stood the test of time. I mix them for a custom sheer to light coverage.
I repurchase the Dior Forever skin correct concealers, specifically for the olive tones. You also get quite a bit of product, 11 ml. I rarely use foundation these days. This concealer is perfect for spot concealing. I love Viseart, too. I use my Viseart Grand Pro 1x all the time. It is an amazing all matte palette. It contains everything. Cashmerie is also my favorite. ❤️
Love this video! I was really expecting Chantecaille Lip Chip (the lipstick that ruined me for all others, everything else now feels like I’m in the Gobi Desert while massaging my lips with salt) to be in there❤. But I’ve not tried the Surratt Lip Slicks - would you say they were similar? Thanks for a great video.
I had a Chanel blush in the early 2000’s that I was scraping the pan on. It was so good. They don’t make them anymore. It was a beige called coco soufflé (or something like that) it felt cooling on your cheek and smelled so good. Wish they’d bring back that formula.
Just used the link & ordered the Cle de Peau Cream Blush from Macy's. Pale Fig #2 was available. I have also noticed many products across all stores seem to be running out. I've checked them all for my CDP Radiant Matte Fluid Foundation in B20; which is a 100% match for my skin tone....can't find anywhere in the US at least.
I have to replace my Surrat Dew Drop Foundation because of all the reasons you mentioned. It's not at Sephora, but I love getting it during the Beautylish sales. I missed it this year though. I also have the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate in Intensity Two which is also great. I would also put on my list the Bobbi. Brown bronzer (deep) , ABH Modern Renaissance, the ABH Amrezy highlighter (which I think she redid ?) Marc Jacobs Glity highlighter, and yes, those Chanel lipglosses (which started my love of luxury makeup) and the NARS pencil lippies are a few that come to mind. Great video really had me digging in my vanity for selections!
I need to try that Surratt foundation. I keep hearing good things 🤔😜 I don’t really hold on as much on older products well I loved Chanel First light lipstick that perfect orange red it got discontinued . So I think Chanel OG fresh water foundation, of course Sublimage concealer, and Prada eyeshadows 🙏❤️
Thank you for the video, great selection ❤I have been buying Shiseido Advanced Revitalizing Bio-Performance cream (looks like a space ship ), Guerlain Super Aqua (anything), Shiseido Future Solution eye cream, and Valmont Priming with a hydrating fluid for ages. They are my work horses 😂
Hello dear Michele! Thank you for showing us your Luxury make up icons!! I really love the concealer from Chanel and I use the B30 for years ❤ Also I love the Shade and illuminate contour duo from Tom Ford. I have the intensity 1 and 2 and they are amazing, I can't stop using them! ❤And my all time favorites are the Chanel Coco Gloss! I love the color Rose Naif, the number 728 Rose Pulpe and number 166 Physical!! They are the best glosses I have ever had ❤ By the way, I love the color of your nails!! Thank you and best greetings from Austria 😊❤
Truly enjoyed a lot this video 📼📼📼 of yours Dear Michèle 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, and there is one ☝️ product I completely depend on this would be, no other than the Nars orgasm blush ☺️ in the powder formulation only! Perfect for rosy/fair/light medium skin tones= LOVE ❤️ it since years 😉😉😉
Fun video. Oldies but goodies that I still use on a regular basis are LaMer Soft Fluid Foundation (I shear it out), Sisley gel bronzer, Sisley Phyto Lip Twist, Benefit Gimmie brow, Nars Madly blush, Laura Mercier Infusion blushes. As much as I love the Surratt Dew Drops I don't like the push button at the bottom. It isn't easy for older fingers. I feel the same about any Westman Atellier product in a compact. Very hard for me to open.
Hi Michele, Love the Lucifer jewelry on you. I'm saving to make a purchase. Love this style of video and your makeup looks great. I'm ordering the Chanel concealer now in B10 (I'm a little fairer). I have the Cle de Peau 2 and 4 but I much prefer the 4 color. I might try the cranberry shade. Love, love the Chanel glosses. I just bought the Holiday 3 pack of glosses that comes with a cosmetics bag. Those sell out very quickly. I do love the Makeup by Mario new palette which I purchased during the Sephora sale - definitely leans cool toned. I also love the Nintease Vieve palette which you introduced me to. I'm presently planning trips to Japan and Columbia so I am looking for travel friendly makeup and clothing.
Loved this, Michelle. I use the LaMer skin tint for years now, the Sisley photo lip twist ( I accidentally bought a mat color and didn’t love it) for years and I give them as gifts, and the Guerlain meteorite pearls…all I learned about through you! For my hair, I can’t be without the Oribe products but my ride or die is the Sisley Volumizing spray. Thanks for introducing me to these lux products!
I always return to the Givenchy prisme libre glow foundation. The glow is so subtle and not greasy, the covering is light. Love it, and I am on my third bottle. Tried both Surratt foundations and Dew drop is so nice. But the shades did not suit me.
I love Kjaer Weis cream foundation and blushes above all. Since 2020 I became a big make-up watcher on UA-cam. I have tried so many products and interestingly, I tried Kjaer Weis probably in 2022; it was a game changer for me. I love the no-make-up, make-up look, and when I tried this brand, that was it. It was my face but better; so natural; the lit from within look. I just refreshed my Kjaer Weis palette this past weekend with different blush colors and was reminded how much it is just me:)
After watching all the videos about the latest viral Korean MU and beauty products, it’s great to review some of the “nostalgic” items which have accompanied many of us for years. I like to try new things but there is one product which I have been using for exactly 30 years: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant. I can’t live without it.
Armani Crema Nuda, love it so much and so sad they discontinued it😢 Looks like they came up with something similar but under different name, haven't hit the US market yet, hopefully it's as good.
Oh wow, Viseart…taking me back. One product that has stood the test of time for me is the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original and Sin. I love Sin when I need an easy eye look. I just bought another original today at Sephora. No eye shadow primer compares when you have hooded lids.
I love the timing of this video! I just ordered the new Viseart Sireneuse along with the Paris Edit that’s on sale and Cashmerie. I’ve never had a Viseart palette in the past but seeing them get some love on UA-cam still makes me excited for them!
Following you for so long, I went back in my mind. I’m thinking whet would be in her (without looking) the SURATTE dew drop, the single blush and single pallets the TF eye quad. LA MER Those I knew and the Chanel. ❤❤❤❤love this video
Yes, it's your fault Michele 😂that i have half of this list, i think!!! That 804 Chanel gloss i still use, it's so lovely!!! This is such a video, i'm looking for, i'm waiting for, and i'll always love these type of typical UNforgettable Michele video's for us, i watch these more than 1 time!!! Thanks dear Michele!!!🤩🤩😘😘
Ive been watching your videos since the early days. And while watching i thought 'did she got her lips done?' And loving the color. And then you mentioned the chanel lipgloss. 😂😂😂
i always get upset when beauty brands discontinue products i like or switch up the formulae :( or even when sephora decides to not carry a brand in my daily routine in my local store. it makes me question if im using the "wrong" stuff clarins double serum - i used for 10+ years, they kept changing it! its been minor changing but they recently made a big reformulation it seems, im not a fan of the texture, so sad, i bought the last 3 remaining stock at my local drug store thatll last me awhile shiseido microliner eyeliner - the thinnest longest lasting eyeliner I can find! i go through them pretty quickly, i have to always have a backup on in my drawers ysl eyeshadow quad 600 - perfect for my skin tone and all 3 matte shades can act as blushes too! origins mushroom toner - used for ~10 years, such a nice calming toner, my local sephora stopped carrying origins, luckily i can still get it online
For me the it’s the Chanel Baume Essentiel - Chanel has discontinued and/or changed so many of my favorite formulas (Les Beige Skin Tint, the cream single eye shadows, the cream bronzer, etc.) please do not change the Baume’s 🙏🏼🙃 The Westman Atelier Liquid Balms are also perfect.
I knew, it was going to be the Chanel gloss. I have one because of you. You influenced me! 😊 I also have a few Sisley Phyto twists because of you! Number 1 is my favourite. Also the Sisley Manhattan nude colour lipstick. Guess what? I bought it because of you … 😅.

Thanks so much!
Great video. Please do more all time favorite videos for blush, shadows, etc… I love to see the classics as well as the new products.
You are so right - I've got more coming! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
**Thank you 🙏🏽 sooooo much for bringing back this style of video Michele!!!*
I’m so glad you liked it!
Michelle, these are my favorite videos you do! You explain things so well, getting to the heart of what the product does and how it wears!. Love, love! Thanks.
Thank you so much! 🥰🥰🥰
NARS radiant creamy concealer (since its release!). RMS living luminizer highlighter. Chanel Boy lipstick. Anastasia brow gel. NARS Laguna. Same Viseart eyeshadow palette you mentioned. Chanel Ballerina nail polish. Love these products so much!
NARS Laguna! Definitely has withstood the test of time and I still use it!
@ It’s so good! 💕
I just realized I have the majority of these products as the backbone of my makeup collection because of your recommendations from back in the day. I found your channel around 2017 when it was more difficult to find someone with the same features and skin tone as me.
Thank you! That’s so great to hear!

This video is iconic!! 👏 thank you so much Michele, xo❤
I’ve never seen you look so beautiful…..whatever you are doing…..keep doing it.😊
😊 thank you!!
The CT Filmstar bronze and glow is fantastic! 🌟 Simple yet spectacular.
Michele, such a great video!! So many of these products I still use and most likely you recommended in one of your past videos. Chanel 804 was my first Michele inspired purchase and it remains a treasure.
Michele, I loved this video because it reminded me of when I started watching your channel in 2017 and all the products I grew to love and still use to this day like the Sisley Phyto-Lip Twists and Surratt Lip Sliques. Also the La Mer Skin Tint. Thanks!
This was a great trip down memory lane for all of us to share! I still use many of these products as well. Thanks Michele❤
Thank you so much! I love that we can all enjoy these classics!
Your makeup is perfection! Suits you so well.
Thank you so much
Westman Atelier’s shade Biscuit is my absolute favorite contour, there’s nothing like it. This was such a fun video!
Yep, agree! Repurchased at least 3x!
Great video. Also love your sweater, very nice seasonal color
Must be "trending" now ( HaHa) because I just picked the same sweater up yesterday at Bloomingdale's ❤
I can't afford any of these products, but love the luxury, your makeup your skin and your relaxing tone of voice. kisses from Spain, love your videos
Ahhh Michele, this video of yours really pulls my heartstrings hahaha x Really enjoyed listening to your luxury make up icons! Feels like a gift at this point of the day on Sunday with a typical gloomy English weather 😂
Thank you so much!!
Filmstar! And Viseart! My favorites and go-to makeup for so many years. Glossimer! Happy cheek gloss. Oh my, you raided my tried-and-true makeup stash. What a lovely and confirming video. Thank you. I must try the Cle de Peau cream blushes.
I also love Cle de Peau blush!
Love Sisley lip balm chunky pencils too! #11 is neutral as well in my opinion ❤
Yay to this video.
When will you do your favorites In Each category; as of today which includes old and new?I truly hope we can get a top 2 from Michele in each category. Truly want this news!!!!
I have been wearing the Viseart neutral palette all week. I love their palettes and they always have amazing sales. I love the mini sizes.
Amazing video! Absolutely loved watching what still works ❤
I almost forgot about the stick concealer. Iconic for sure!
Yesssssssss!
❤❤😊 thank you for making this video! Highly enjoyed!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
Chanel Rouge Coco Flash in Boy. May it never be discontinued.
Amen 😂
Love 'Boy'
I loved watching this video so much. Omg thank you for making my day!
Love your sweater color!! Is it from Quince? I can’t seem to find it. Thank you!!
Thanks Michele, never regretted any purchase off of your recommendation. Q: did you just line your lips or you tinted them with the lip liner before you applied the Chanel gloss, cause your lips look very dark

Thank you so much!!! 🙏🙏🙏
What a great idea to
Go down memory lane!❤ OMG Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate in 1. I love that contour. There’s so much product you get, it’s totally worth it.❤
Great video thank you! Surratt would definitely be my long term can’t live without. I was totally expecting you to include meteorites and surprised that you didn’t, but maybe you mentioned those in other recent videos.
CT film star and viseart shadows are amazing! While I enjoy new makeup launches there are products that are just GOOD!
My favs that I continue to repurchase: The OG stick concealer from Clé de Peau, Bobbi Brown Smokey Lash mascara, Chanel Stylo Ombre Electric Brown, Sisley Phyto Rouge beige Manhattan. Sisley concealer/corrector. For sure
I love that foundation

Thank you for this fabulous post❣️
Thank you so much!!! 💕💕
Your top is so beautiful! Just wondering if you would mind sharing the brand/make. Thx u!
Here it is - thank you! bit.ly/3AKk2Ke
So many still-great products! Nude Dip quad from TF is my OG, along with Boy Brow (a revelation when it came out), MAC Face and Body, and Clarins lip oil (remember all those British UA-camrs from back in the day using it??). Thanks for shining a light on non “viral” products!
Loved this Michele! Your look is gorgeous!❤😊

I found recently Lancôme Idole foundation and love it. Chanel lip gloss is the only one I use and have it in several colors. Not greasy at all.
Yessss!! Thanks for sharing!
Wouldn't it be exciting if CDP came out with an extended shade range? Those cream blushes were ahead of their time!
Koh Ken Doh Moisture Foundation. The best.
Just used the link & ordered the Cle de Peau Cream Blush from Macy's. Pale Fig #2 was available. I have also noticed many products across all stores seem to be running out. It’s Armani Luminous silk for me!!
Chanel Rose Brun lip pencil for sure!
🙏🙏🙏
I love Kjaer Weis cream foundation and blushes above all. Since 2020 I became a big make-up watcher on UA-cam. I have tried so many products and interestingly, I tried Kjaer Weis probably in 2022; it was a game changer for me. I love the no-make-up, make-up look, and when I tried this brand, that was it. It was my face but better; so natural; the lit from within look. I just refreshed my Kjaer Weis palette this past weekend with different blush colors and was reminded how much it is just me:)
I bought that Chanel lipgloss a couple of years ago after you mentioned it. I’m going to pull it out and wear it regularly & see if I get comments! 😅
Yes let us know!!
I love Jane Iredale bronzer powder form
After watching all the videos about the latest viral Korean MU and beauty products, it’s great to review some of the “nostalgic” items which have accompanied many of us for years. I like to try new things but there is one product which I have been using for exactly 30 years: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant. I can’t live without it.
OMG Yes!!! That "cream" is magical! Thank you for the reminder!
I have to get that new Viseart palette!
@ it looks so beautiful! Very excited to see it in person.
Following you for so long, I went back in my mind. I’m thinking whet would be in her (without looking) the SURATTE dew drop, the single blush and single pallets the TF eye quad. LA MER Those I knew and the Chanel. ❤❤❤❤love this video
Thanks Louise!
Iconic favorites 💜💜💖
💙💙💙
You got that right Dave
Yes, it's your fault Michele 😂that i have half of this list, i think!!! That 804 Chanel gloss i still use, it's so lovely!!! This is such a video, i'm looking for, i'm waiting for, and i'll always love these type of typical UNforgettable Michele video's for us, i watch these more than 1 time!!! Thanks dear Michele!!!🤩🤩😘😘
Could I ask where the sweater you’re wearing is from? I love the combination of the color with your lipstick.
The sweater is from Prada and the lip combo is in the video.
Thanks!
Hi, Is Troy Surratt still affiliated with the brand?
Ive been watching your videos since the early days. And while watching i thought 'did she got her lips done?' And loving the color. And then you mentioned the chanel lipgloss. 😂😂😂
Thank you.
You’re welcome! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
i always get upset when beauty brands discontinue products i like or switch up the formulae :( or even when sephora decides to not carry a brand in my daily routine in my local store. it makes me question if im using the "wrong" stuff
clarins double serum - i used for 10+ years, they kept changing it! its been minor changing but they recently made a big reformulation it seems, im not a fan of the texture, so sad, i bought the last 3 remaining stock at my local drug store thatll last me awhile
shiseido microliner eyeliner - the thinnest longest lasting eyeliner I can find! i go through them pretty quickly, i have to always have a backup on in my drawers
ysl eyeshadow quad 600 - perfect for my skin tone and all 3 matte shades can act as blushes too!
origins mushroom toner - used for ~10 years, such a nice calming toner, my local sephora stopped carrying origins, luckily i can still get it online
🥰🥰🥰
❤❤
Did not like Clair de peau cream cheeks. Light in color pat off and didn’t last. Like RMS more
Cle de Peau blush in persimmon and the VisiArt matte palette live on my vanity. 😊
Love this video, a trip down memory lane / make up hall of fame.
