One line of my ancestors came from Peasmarsh. They emigrated to Sydney, Australia in 1840. They are Daw/ Dawes Family. My Grandmother was a 4th generation Australian and she and my Grandfather moved to New Zealand 🇳🇿 to live when they married in 1914.
That is my history and childhood in a video. The characters from where I grew up, I knew them all. I do miss the life of that small village, and the big characters. The simplicity, knowing everybody you met on your walk up the village and knew all about them, even though they also knew all about me too.
Was this film made in the 70's? Youre dad looked really happy while woodturning and playing his music. Maybe you have his tools and still do some turning?
