You can’t have a G-Shock collection without the square. It’s the one that started it all. I had the OG G-Shock when I was in school. Yes, I’m that old. Respect your elders, young man!
I have a Rangeman that is 11 years old. It was my daily for 3 straight years. It is still my go to, extreme adventure watch. It has been in more states and countries than any other watch I own. I have used it as my backup timer for over 100 ocean and cave dives. I have more memories wearing this watch than any other. Last year I had to replace the factory band. The case is a little beat up. The text colors are a little faded. But, it still takes a full charge and connects to the atomic clock each night. If and when it finally gives up, I will replace it with another. I will also keep the this one on a shelf, in memory of we both have seen and done. I could write a book on what I’ve done wearing this watch.
Amazing collection! I love the G-Shock squares and recently picked up the DW-5000R reissue of the OG. The aesthetic details on the dial and premium build make it a dream to wear, I haven't worn anything else all week 😁
Just pulled the trigger on the big mudmaster and King Gshock the past 48 hours... Waited years and can't wait! I have too many gshocks, but somehow not enough!
I gave my 5610 to my brother after getting a Casiotron, but I found myself missing the larger display. I'm considering getting a full metal square or a GW5000U this year.
The atomic clock function a lot of them have now is a very underrated function. Who'd have thought a £90 watch is one you use to set the time on £5k autos. I increasingly prefer my Gshocks
I just got the DW5000R, the best recreation of the original. None of the modern features but the outright quality and screen legibility from different angles is great. Feels pretty premium.
@@G-rigger I got mine (5000R) this afternoon…I’m quite baffled, to say the least…2 scratches on the case bottom in a matter of a few hours…my dlc coated 5000U never got the hint of a scratch in spite of my daily carry for a month or so. Love the 5000R anyway but I’m just realizing the tag price gap between the U and the R (100€ difference).
Great you got one. That's ulucky, not sure how the happened but it's a polished surface. It's not that you look at the case back often. I've still got the sticker on mine usually leave it on till it falls off. Agree that the 5610U would be good for most people with the modem features, but these are great for something special. Still way cheaper than that Gold one and both are sold out and selling for crazy money so I don't think it's too bad.
I love my 5000R. I was lucky enough to snag one on the first day of the US release. I love being able to wear a modern, non limited edition 5000c remake without worrying about banging around a $1,000+, 40 year old watch that you can't get parts for.
I just got my fifth G-SHOCK, the DW-6600PC-5. Having lived through the 70s and 80s, I have to say this is the most 70s/80s looking colour scheme of any G-SHOCK I've seen. Wasn't sure I'd love the beige and brown , but I do :)
Excellent collection !! I love Gs , and have over twenty of them. Just bought the awesome Mud Master a couple of months ago, it's about the same size as a dinner plate but I love it. Got a couple of "Kings" as well, they're also HUGE but about a third of the weight. Great video, I thoroughly enjoy a good GShock vid. Keep collecting em !!
Wow, you beat my 14! I also have a Mudmaster, a khaki GWG-B1000 which is an absolute precision crafted masterpiece. Also after getting the "Rust" King last year I got the all black King last week. Kings put a smile on my face, so silly but at the same time so awesome.
Nice collection! The all metal B5000 has to be seen close to be appreciated. A friend wanted one for ages and seeing it in a window I thought what, they have put a metal bezel and strap on a £100 watch and added £350!? But when he got one and I saw close up the price was justified. The screw on back and the quality of the bracelet with a machined rather than pressed out clasp were details I hadn't seen from a distance. You are right though, you have to know the original G and that this is a metal interpretation to understand it.
Whew…that was quick, Russ! Seemed like (literally) yesterday when you asked us whether we's like a round-up of your G collection, and here we are. Bought me very first G-Shock (GW-7900) last August, and liked it, but then got hold of a Rangeman (GW-9400), and now never wear the 7900, which will eventually get sold off - nothing terribly wrong with the 7900, but the Rangeman just "does it" better for me, so there. (My wife hasn't really noticed it, and that's how I think I'm going to keep things.)
I've got 3 G shock watches. A Japanese import frogman which is HUGE. A carbon core steel G shock and a resin G shock which is solely for using at work as it gets a bashing every day. Still on the same battery from new and apart from the knocks and scrapes, it works like a charm. If I had the money, then the MR-G range would be my next purchase.
Great collection fella I’ve got a mad g shock collection too, you definitely need to try pick up a vintage dw6600, gw200 froggy and 9200 riseman. Also a kahki rangeman looks great too. I’m waiting for the reissue Dw5000r to drop. Happy new year buddy🤙🏻
When I started working as a Ramp Agent for and airlines. Everyone and I mean everyone had a G Shock GA1000 (with the Airplane on the dial). So I got a as well and I love it. I also have a Casio Duro, but in my collection, but it's my only G Shock. I don't even see the GA 1000 be mentioned, maybe it's just me. Triple
Great collection . I've got both the metal squares in this video and there even better looking in real life . I've just purchased my third , a gunmetal black with irredescent blue surround . Looks awsome.
I wear the GW-7900 series (I'm a small fella as well) and find it WAYYY comfier than a 9400, you don't lose anything apart from the Compass and Barometer (but who uses the barometer really)
Good fun collection. My only G shock GD120C from 2016. Replaced battery after 5 years for a dollar. Replaced the strap after 6 years & still going strong. The other 2 Casios I have are Edifice. Looking to get a calculator watch soon, if the missus allows.
Great collection, I also have some of them. Im wearing that exact same mudmaster gwg-2000. But my favorite square is the G-7800 with the most customizable module inside. Even the contrast and the font type can be adjusted, the hourly chime, multiple timer settings, everything can be personalized. But there is no solar and multiband 6. I would like to see that module in a new watch.
Incredible collection Russell! Love the metal squares, although they quite heavy. I had the black one and then the Wife got me the Aged version GWM B5000 V1, so I swapped that for a Khaki Field Mec, and then sold it. This has become my everyday watch. I only got into watches during the pandemic , and after a manic almost 5 years looking to get the perfect watch and following every channel, I can honestly say that I'm done with watches for now , I only follow you and Andrew. I'm very happy with this GShock and my CW C60 Sapphire, also bought by my wife, that I wear only on a summer vacation. Although you got me thinking with that 36 Vertex.....
Fabulous presentation!! That twirling showcase is ballers! I made a 2025 video of my own Casios…but they are dwarfed by your Juggernaut G-Shock collection!
GBD200 and GBX100 battery last long for those who rarely use their function or someone who have and wear lots of watch. I used the vibration timer a lot for a while and have just replaced the battery.
I reckon that the GW-7900 lineup is an unsung hero, it is essentially a GW-9400 for smaller wrists (Solar and Atomic timekeeping like the 9400) yet it doesn't seem to get much love or attention at all.
Surprised to not see an AWG reference G-Shock on this list. I absolutely love mine. I prefer its size to some of the other round G-Shocks which can wear quite large.
I'm looking at adding some more Casios to my collection. I definitely want the Oceanus S7000 (full titanium, on-the-fly micro adjust titanium bracelet, A/R sapphire crystal, solar, and Bluetooth). I'm also thinking of a full metal CasiOak (solar and Bluetooth of course). I really hope these GPS watches come down in price soon because I live in Florida, too far away from the atomic time radio transmitter in Ft. Collins, Colorado unless I leave my watch outside all night.
Love the collection 😍, I have to some extent, a similar collection, minues the smart Gs 😅 . But in my opinion, u r missing a major G shock in ur collection , the following Mudman model to the one you have . I d like my 5610 U one of my favorite G shock s and my new GA2100 Manga Edition i like the white Color on it 😅. Now i waiting for the DW5000 R 😉. But a Mudman and a Frogman is ridiculous.

Do people prefer the original issue DW6900-1V with the old illuminator or something? Picked up the newer DW-690OU-1, was a better deal and the white backlight is tweaked with 5y battery instead of 2 or 3. Much the same otherwise. They are still pretty big but wear better with a 5600 strap.
G-Shock GBD-200UU-1ER is on my list... love the stealth look, with the touch of Green. Now if I can find it at a decent price. Only thing that would make it perfect would be if it was Solar. Thanks for the hack on it btw... not really interested in the bluetooth aspect anyway.

Was going to buy a G shock this month on payday but got a speeding fine 😂. Might have to be next month now.
What were you driving
Would be perfect to have bought the DW5000 'Speed' version

That Manga GA 2100 escaped many of us fans and ended up on eBay, much to my and others frustration.
Thanks MWC, you just inspired me to pull the trigger on a GBM-2100A-1A3ER 👍 Keep up the great work.
GW-5000u is a good call. That and my GWG-2000 are the only two G-Shocks in my collection I wear regularly.
Your misses and mine went to the same watch appreciation academy where the word ugly is an abbreviation of “Oh god not another one”

GW-9500 is my NEXT G-Shock! I love EVERYTHING about it! Clarity, features / functions, perfect size...
You NEED to check this one out for sure!!!

Great G collection 😊. I love the Mudman and am looking to get the GW9000 five eye.
I rescued an old 5 Eyes a couple of years ago from eBay. Absolutely cracking watch.
Just sold my 5000u and kept the 5610u. The added colour and asymmetry make the 5610u more appealing to me.
Where did you sell it? I’m thinking of doing the same and keeping my 5610 as well.
@ eBay
I have most of these but the DW-6900 ended up being my favorite over time. It's a perfect manly watch.
Have 5610, yellow casioak and rangeman, 6900 next.. 👌
Fantastic collection of G-Shock. Some more G-Shock 2100/2110 in your collection would be a good idea as the octagonal shape is really great.

@the mad watch collector: Dw 5500..Any links where I can buy the watch?
Hello ! I can't believe you don't have the DW -9052 in your collection as it is an iconic military used watch :)

Hi if I may suggest you the gshock gulfman 😊😊
You should try the AWG-M100B-1A Gshock models.. i think you will like it they are not to big

But in my opinion, u r missing a major G shock in ur collection , the following Mudman model to the one you have . The mudman G9300 , the most affordable master of G , in my opinion it is the better twin of the rangeman u have , just because it's more affordable and it looks better because it's round yet not symmetrical
I got The 6900 and I loved.
Hey do you know where can I get any of the dw 5500 models?
Not really my friend! EBay???? But let’s hope they bring out an anniversary edition!!!!
my favourite of my collection has to be the gravitymaster gr-b300 mostly because of the colour but it just feels robust
I got the GBD200 and tbh have been really disappointed with it. The screen is legible but it's so slow to react and it feels kind of soulless, plus the band is really uncomfortable especially in humidity. I should've got the Mission impossible 1 watch!
Yes my GWG2000 master of G mudmaster!!!
I bought it as an only GADA one watch. That was 7 watches ago. It still awesome though, Love it.
14:20 you know how owners begin to look like their dogs or is it the other way around 😁
Can you do a review of the mudmaster?

I was looking at lots of these yesterday at Yamada Denki in Kobe and nearly wept.
I really like my GA2100 in grey and my GW9052.

Love the click it part
I d like my 5610 U one of my favorite G shock s and my new GA2100 Manga Edition i like the white Color on it 😅. Now i waiting for the DW5000 R 😉. But a Mudman and a Frogman is ridiculous.
New Rangeman with 6 sensors is absolutely legendary.
Shock to the system 🤯🤯🤯
A shame to see the Gd-350 go got one for Christmas, its an amazing exercise watch! Your review sealed the deal
Just ordered a G-Shock G-9000 Mudman original colours.

It’s high time you got yourself an MRG Square MWC! Master Watch could give you some tips……..
Where to by this shirt?
Dw5500bb is all i want and i am searching for it since 5 years
Love this video
Great but none GST or " g steel " series, it would be great to have🎉
Any plans to pick up a GW-200 series Frogman? They're not too big and the build quality is top class
The all metal Timex Ironmans have given G-Shock some fierce competition
G-Shock GBD-200UU-1ER is on my list... love the stealth look, with the touch of Green.
Now if I can find it at a decent price.
Only thing that would make it perfect would be if it was Solar.
Thanks for the hack on it btw... not really interested in the bluetooth aspect anyway.
