You made me nervous working around an open engine, lol. Good job! I’m going to also replace my coils while the plenum is off.

Hey, heads up, mine is a year newer, a 2013 Toyota Camry V6 with the same engine all you have to do is take the wiper assembly off and the wiper motor and it gives you just enough room to get back to the back three spark plugs with the mirror and the right ratchet and extension to replace the last three spark plugs there is no need to take the manifold off or airbox or throttle body too much work. It is an easy job just to take the wiper assembly off and stick your hand back there with the mirror and you’ll be able to do it.

After you takeoff the wiper motor and cowling, there was no need to take off the throttle body. You can put your hand back there and change all back. Three spark plugs with the mirror totally unnecessary.

It's not super bad I just wish toyota made those rear ones more accessible. I really don't want to remove my windshield wipers and the motor and the brackets all those things...

I agree, Toyota could make things a bit easier... but I'm still buying their cars/trucks for the quality

You should cover the air intake with a shop towel ; big problem if you drop something down there :(

You don’t even need to remove the manifold you take the wiper blade and the wiper motor off and the cowling and you can barely put your hand just enough with a mirror and take out the coils and spark plugs and put it and put the spark plugs in easily just did unnecessary to takeoff the manifold and air intake

Wow, you were getting pretty crappy milage. My 2011 ES 350, same motor gets at least 360 per tank in the city. On the highway I can get close to 400 if I drive the speed limit.

Did you notice any difference in fuel economy?

    • @TheRealSkeptyk

Yes, getting over 300 miles to a tank again, could possibly use a fuel injector cleaner just to spiff it up... ill keep you posted 🤙
