    Re: women working in the factories, under National Socialism ideology, women did not work in the factories. Unlike the allied countries, it was very hard for Germany to cover military recruitment and factory work because they both had to be done by men. Women's place was in the home, according to dogma. Germany was very slow to realize that the war was going to cost them a total war economy and they were not maximizing their potential by allowing women to take over the industry.

    This pairs very well with the soundtrack from Goat Simulator. It just works.

    Such a pleasure to follow along, understanding what's going on, growing the pressure, feels like a Churchill clone is whispering order directly to my ears with his lovely accent :)
    August the 1st, War is declared at 1am! Made some mistakes here and there, but here I am, at your side :)

    I believe you have done it once or twice in I don´t know which episode but ever since you´re back to assigning and more importantly unassigning divisions´ training manually. It also says it at the end of the tooltip - if you hold shift when you click or press shift + k, they will stop training automatically. That´s been the most used shortcut for me in this game. You only need to be careful when doing it with the navy as sometimes it seems to send the whole flotilla despite some of them being fully trained already. With land and air I haven´t noticed this and it seems to work exactly as one would expect.
    By the way thank you for this series, I have played both EU and CK literally for thousands of hours (and still keep finding new stuff) but this game even without DLCs had seemed so complicated I gave up on it more than once. Haven´t even finished watching the series and I´ve already basically won a regular game with UK when I chose to defend Czechoslovakia, Fuehrer was assassinated, civil war started which we won rather easily and the WW2 has never really started.

      The shift+K for auto Training is something I've learnt from comment sections from people like you. Thank you so much, I'll pin it somewhere!

    You always have more factories, military factories, everything than I can duplicate.

      if you want to be as accurate as possible, don't forget to disable all DLC. For example, I play with two DLCs turned on and there is already a split in what he has and what I have.
      The second thing is that every game has an element of randomness in it and that can make the difference between you and him.
      Plays on the easiest difficulty. Didn't you turn on a bit heavier than him by any chance?
      Don't let the difference put you off. He plays it precisely. He already knows what will come next, what should happen, what will have the best effect. Sometimes just minute precision makes all the difference. In any case, it will force you to become independent all the more, which is perhaps more fundamental in this game than in any other. Anyway follow key principles based on his choices - generals, research, production of units, production of equipment, focus tree. You will learn a lot and put in a little bit of your style and thinking :) Enjoy

    am i something missing here because you build 2 dockyards and you go from 13 up to 18 ? some other few things i noticed that are different tho is that you dont start with a CA almost finished and you can actually now send planes to spain (but really gets you close with the fuel) but i really like the tutorial so far and i hope maybe in 2025 there will be a new one .. bcs iam sure iam still a noob at that point

    Early on I screwed up the war in Spain. I somehow had 5 or 6 different line and I didn't understand how to remove them and the orders were a mess. Finally the war in Spain ended on my version during this episode. Only it's now Iberia (Did I lose after all this time? Funny.) I did move Rommel when you assigned him in the video, whatever episode that was. I had a few panzers ready for him there so it worked out.
    Excited to finally dive in. I wonder how long it will take to conquer Poland?
    Oh, my guy on the France border is really worried. I've sent him some more units but he's paranoid it seems.

    Yeah in my game Romania has not switched to fascism and thus is way to negative towards German to invite to Faction. Just gotta see how it goes from here.

    Can someone explain why when you’re only producing one type of fighter (the Bf 109 for example) why is it that more of the previous fighters (the inter-war fighters) are still being produced? I’m so confused. Shouldn’t you not be getting anymore of the previous fighters since they’re not being produced?

    • @axiezimmah
      @axiezimmah Місяць тому +3

      They are not produced, but the newly produced planes will replace the older planes in active service, pushing the older planes to the reserves, which makes them available again to be assigned to a new division.

    Thanks for the nice tutorial, one question, what is the reason for not yet implementing the AT cannon in the infantry division?

    • @gameswithbrains
      @gameswithbrains  8 місяців тому +2

      So AT (Anti Tank) is useful for piercing enemy armour, and inflicting HARD damage only, so if I were to equip everyone with this weapon, it would actually weaken the army overall (more hard attack stats = less of something else)
      I only really need a few specialised AT divisions, which I can then position as required against any enemy tanks, especially if they have numbers.
      Unfortunately the generals in this game do not automatically position divisions directly opposite a suitable enemy division on the front line, but rather seek to evenly space out units along the front line, regardless what they are - so AT infantry, is only useful in limited numbers IMO, due to the micro required, and you'll find others say they don't use them at all, relying instead on tanks and breakthrough/encircling to deal with enemy armour.
      I'll give this a mention in a future episode, cos there will be others thinking the same, cheers.

      @@gameswithbrains Thanks for the detailed answer, then I understand why, this game has its own dynamics that are not so intuitive.

    Followed along and everything matches up well but the nationalist are still fighting, my volunteers are still there pretty much surrounded and it looks like that Nationals can't win. I need to get Rommel up to the war.. :D

    • @theOzz13
      @theOzz13 7 місяців тому +1

      I declared war with Poland and went to Spain to see how they are doing down there and the volunteer tanks are gone. Maybe they are in transport back and will pop up in 2 weeks game time.
