This was not the video I was planning to finish this week but after that announcement I decided to just drop everything and work on this instead LOL This was super fun to work on and (unlike TotK Main lol) it basically wrote itself - such natural writing for strings, very classic Zelda and so gratifying to play! Very hyped to hear more music from this game, and hope you enjoy my take on this theme!

It’s amazing how the Zelda team can make most of its games have its own iconic music and soundtracks while still making it feel connected to other titles and make it feel Zeldaesque
Until we get the OST, this is the official version in my book. ♥
This conver inspired me to make an animation out of it! I just closed my eyes and saw all the scenes happening!
AND I JUST SAW THAT AND WAS INSPIRED TO LOOK UP AND LISTEN TO THE THEME. And here we are…

I would say Nintendo absolutely nailed it with this one! I believe this is the overworld theme (?). This has the tone and rythm as the first zelda, as links awakening, epic, cheerful, and fun! I love the more dramatic tone the violins give it! You made a BANGER cover of a BANGER theme!!!
This theme can be described as Heroic yet Sweet .... just like our Princess Zelda

thanks!! viola is the perfect instrument to replace clarinet so I had to do it 😄 and always a nice contrast when the main melody lines feature two parts

Link's Awakening got me into video games
I can tell I'm going to like this game a lot
I feel like this is going to do many things that link can't do
Link's magic-use has gotten really limited over the years. He used to have really cool spells, then really situational spells, then he got another crack at magic wands but they were pretty weak.. I will be happy to see a game where magic is the primary weapon. Hopefully some of it is straight-up offense and not just throwing blocks.

And tears of the Kingdom
Yes there are some good music in those games but I feel like there's too much silence in the game.
Too many quiet soft melodies
Not as much as action-packed music as The originals used to have.
