    I remember my math teacher/wrestling coach could do a few reps with 275 pounds (125 kilos) on the bench press and it impressed the heck out of me as a skinny 14 year old kid that had just started lifting lol

      I had two college football players for principles who were 3 time national champs. They were what we needed. I was team captain of the team that had the best record and made it the furthest the school had ever been in playoff history. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have had a chance.

      @real_talk8749 My principals were bookworms who looked like 'Mac' before he started the Charles Atlas course!

      @@PinnaclePete That's good. Knowledge and passing of that knowledge is their field, not lifting iron around like a moron.

    Good wholesome fun. If this is "toxic masculinity" then bring on the toxicity! 👏

    • @Siberius-
      @Siberius- 10 місяців тому

      Literally no one who knows the subject, thinks this is toxic masculinity. Going to the gym and being strong and being healthy (hopefully both at the same time) is great.
      Now there is a toxic masculinity way to view and go about these things, but none of that is seen in this video. The principal didn't say that their self worth should be determined by if they can lift a lot of weight for instance lol (would be very odd to say so directly for sure).
      Definitely try to see what people's genuine positions actually are, and what these terms actually refer to. Don't want to end up boxing strawmen.

      Why would anyone fake a weight like this? It's a good weight but achievable by almost any abled man....

      @@jesseb5076no, i dont like medals. Im just fed up with fitness journalists sharing fake/ old news for views. Im not saying strength uni is doing it im just angry currently at bodybuilding pages sharing an update of Krizo which is from last year, everyone can clearly see its not current and he stated in half of these pages comments that its from last year yet nsp and others making posts about it to milk the 'news'. I see it as a trend nowadays. So i get upset when i see old news shared months later...

      @patriknagy5601 As I said in the video, I came across this today for the first time after it was shared by WSM and thought the kids reaction was cool. I know what you mean about old videos being shared, making out that they are new/current when they are sometimes years old.

      @@JonDeth Social media clearly has infected your mind, "non-existent" physiques can't bench 100kg, everyone that is smaller than a pro bobybuilder is not a "twig".
