- This is a viewer request compilation of a few different requests. First an overview of the Louis Vuitton Tivoli GM handbag and what fits inside, and then also what the Tivoli looks like set on different strap settings. Finally, what the Tivoli looks like over thick sweaters or a coat... (Whether it would fit or not? Answer is yes!)
Tivoli GM has five different settings that the handles can be set at. It comfortably fits on the shoulder and can also be hand carried.

They are similiar and I use them for similar purposes, but simple things like the Tivoli GM will fit more comfortably over a Winter coat than the Monty GM meant that I wore the Tivoli GM a lot more in the Winter - and didn't really use the Monty at all. Also, I feel like the Tivoli is can be a bit dressier and the Monty feels more casual. I use both for my day to day life though - running errands, etc.

That's a great question, in fact - I think I will do a video on this because this is one of those great questions that might eventually get lost in the comments, but you bring up a good point! I actually don't do anything extraordinary. I think body chemistry has part to do with it (I don't produce a lot of oils on my hands) - but I also do not use hand lotion when I'm going to use a bag with vachetta. I store them in dustbags in a dark area (closet/cabinet), and I rotate my bags often. HTH!
Thank you! :) I'm glad I helped too! I lean towards the Emilie between those two... but honestly that is probably because it resembles the Sarah wallet - so I'm probably biased, lol! I'm wanting to try my first zippy wallet sometime in the next year or so and I'm of course a big fan of the Sarah wallet already... but I think either one of those wallets would be a great choice! The Emilie is really adorable and the compact zippy looks super functional!

I think I can narrow it down to 5... Tivoli GM, Palermo PM, Lumineuse PM, Damier Ebene Galliera, Sarah wallet in Violette. That was tough... but that would be my 5. (Only one I don't actually own is the DE Galliera!) ;)

I think the Tivoli is actually pretty comfy to wear on the shoulder, but I find that those flat handled bags like the Delightful & Portobello just slide right off of my shoulder and are awkward to carry for that reason. So I would try it in store if you have a chance... and of course my vote goes to the Tivoli GM, lol! Favorite! :)

I don't own a Trevi, it just seemed a bit heavy for my personal taste. Also, I don't have a Speedy right now. I'm thinking about getting the new DE Speedy with the strap - but I don't currently have a Speedy in the collection. My best all around bag vote would be the Palermo PM or Montorgueil PM/GM if you've never had a LV & want something that is zippered for your first LV bag. Thanks for watching though!
I have to "re-pleat" mine occasionally... especially after it has been in storage, to kind of help it regain its shape. I don't find that mine ever straighten, but they do kind of lose their shape if isn't stored just right. I'm thinking about getting a small pillow made to help store it. HTH!

I love the Tivoli GM. I just bought one, but quick question. Do your side pleats stay pleated? Mine keeps coming up so it's straight. I like it dented in :/

What would you use ths tivoli bag for vs monte bag? I have the monte and really want toiling but I am afraid it won't get much use because their functionality overlaps quite a bit
Hi--where's the date code? I've seen them on a tag or under the d ring. Do they make authentic lv tivolis with both?
I really love both of these bags and I don't think you could go wrong with either of them... That being said, I would chose the Tivoli GM between those two if I HAD to chose only one. It is just a great all around bag and I feel like is the most versatile bag for situations (being dressed up/down) of those two. If you like cross body style, the Palermo PM can be worn cross body though - so that might help make your decision too. HTH! Thanks for watching! :)

I love your videos! I currently have the Artsy MM and the Tivoli PM. I would like to purchase another LV shoulder bag and I go back and forth between the Tivoli GM and the Delightful PM. I am leaning toward the Tivoli but have a couple of concerns. Is it uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time? Is it too heavy or bulky for an everyday bag? My kids are 11 and 9 so I don't have to carry much. Which one would you recommend? Thank you!!

I bought the Paillion it was awful straps wore out so bad, and the Speedy is too heavy to carry and the Pouchette way too small,
