We know that when the load reaches a critical load, the structure will be buckled. so, what happen inside the structure at critical load. I mean what change when the load reaches Pcr and make the structure buckled?
Dear, If stiffness in lateral direction are much lesser than longitudinal direction...the material along lateral direction not able resist the applied load and get deform in certain way...that is buckling only..as per my understanding.
