Day 19 here CT. Feeling infinitely better, but still having some shitty sleep and I can’t seem to shake the brain fog, pressure in my head feeling. Oh that, and trash energy. But I’m proud and I’m not going back. Cool video, pretty spot on. Cheers!

I got a medication for that called Requip a few times and still have it. I was hopeful because I read it's a dopamine agonist, and the addict pseudoscience knowing bit of me thought it had potential. Not sure if it helps or not really it's a strange feeling drug, and I was on a cocktail of other comfort meds being taken at the same time that did more for my rls probably.

@@guntherwheeler_I dont see why someone would quit cold turkey. Why put your body through that? Instead of putting your body and mind in shock from lack of kratom, let it adjust and it will be much easier. Yeah, it may take longer to quit but you have a lower percentage of failing. For 3 years now I have had bad constipation and NOTHING has helped. I have had blood test and a colonoscopy and everything is clear. I dont drink alcohol and eat healthy food. It all comes back to the kratom. I have been on it for abt 7+ years and it I didnt start having constipation until about year 4. I guess it took a while for it to build up and cause constpation. I mean I guess I could be wrong and its from something else. But i have seen others say it did that to them and cause constpation and digestive issues. Im sure there are other things its doing to me that I cant think of at the moment. I am starting to taper, I definitely feel DIFFERENT but not bad or crazy withdrawal symptoms. Just slightly more sore body but not too bad, a little depression and severe fatigue but I have fatigue even on kratom. I am prescribed Adderall but even that isnt help much with the fatigue lol. THANKFULLY my main fulltime job is work from home so able to cope more with fatigue. I do work a part time job 2 days a week on the weekends so i think that will help. I just wonder how low I need to get before just jumping and quitting completely. Before my taper i was on about 30-35 gpd. I am at prolly around 20 gpd now. I just hope i am able to quit and never pick up again.

So glad I've found your channel. There really isn't much support out there for Kratom addicts. I've been able to succesfully taper off from heavy use like two times but I always end up caving after a couple months kratom free. One spoonful of powder and I almost instantly go back into full blown addiction.

Any advice with the tapering when you aren’t sure how much you take? I went from powder to concentrate and chewables and didn’t really keep track of how much I’ve been taking and now that I’m in a hole financially I’m like oh my, I need to stop. I wake up sweating looking for my drink with concentrate or chewable 😢 ordered the book and watched all the videos already am doing less but feeling flu like symptoms. Took half a chew this morning and am drinking water which is helping from taking more. But not sure what my baseline would be, I was guessing to note what I can handle doing today where I’m not great but not feeling like death while working. Any advice would be amazing. Thanks, and seriously your videos have been so inspiring and informative I can’t wait for the book. I turn 40 Friday and have been using a year and a half and want to live again and not just coast anymore. You have all the makings of someone who is definitely going to be successful. Seems like you genuinely want to stop and have put a ton of effort and thought into it. Kudos to you for your strength, seriously! But it makes me really happy to know my videos have been inspiring and it means a lot that you ordered my book. I hope it helps and I'm excited to hear what you think! In terms of advice: concentrates and chewables are super hard to regulate when it comes to tapering, and I feel for you wanting to reach for it and struggling through the first part of your withdrawals. If it were me, and I didn't have any powder on hand, I would go entirely by feel: based off of the fact that you wake up sweating, you are HEALING and doing so great. The more you feel exactly that way, the more your body is adapting to less kratom. Again, if it were me: try and make it as far as you can into the day without taking anything at all, suffer through work to the best of your ability, and then take it only at night so that you can sleep. It won't be easy, but it'll make it a lot faster and you'll really pat yourself on the back in a weeks time.
