    Hi,
I've the same problem with my 2006 MB S500 and I don't have the soldering exp. on the pc board. You think I can do it myself? Watching your video gives me more confidence that I can do it myself. Any advise... ?

I did it. No experience. Just did a little research on surface mounting because it's not as straight forward as through hole soldering. Easy. I had a totally dead unit. Check engine light came On. No lights in various places. Blown fuse. No steering wheel controls. No blinkers. And I smelled something burning. Twice before it went totally dead. BTW... It drives fine with the cluster removed. Thinking about starting a repair service.

    Hello waqas
I tried to upgrade my W220 S500 to S55 instrument cluster..
So I got really hard time trying with DAS to let the KM reading moved to the new cluster.
Is there any why you could do it?
Or is there any part inside the cluster could you think will make since if I shift it from the original cluster?
