- This combat is one of the most fun ones in Sunbreak for GS.
My best time is 3'20, but I prefer upload this run because in my opinion it's cleaner.

I'm happy to see some TA wiki Rules ! I was kinda bored of seeing the usage of the mini bomb to be honest ahah
Where can I find what the TA wiki rules actually are? I Google searched them but couldn't find a clear answer 😅
@@IsaacG97 the short answer is every damage and status must come from your weapon (for the most part) and every item that does more than a buff or heal is prohibited.
So solo, no palico/palamute, no endemic life you use as items, no traps or bombs, no ballista cannon and so on. Additionally no attacking while wyvernriding and you can only ride a non target monster if it’s in your area and you are not allowed to leave the area while riding a non target monster. Also heroics isn’t allowed. Damage small monsters do is allowed as well.
It tries to make it as pure of a You vs the Monster experience as possible

I love that you decided to upload the slightly slower but cleaner run! This is so satisfying to watch. I love how you have to run towards the tail and position behind Malzeno. It's so different from any other weapon's positioning i've seen. That 2:35 blind check was awesome! Great run, Aris!! 😃👌🏻💪🏻

Amazing to watch, I love watching normal runs where I can learn how to counter the monsters properly! Ty!
Question: how did you know what it would do at 2:33 ? Could it have done like a spinning charge or a tail poke or something after going behind you?
Also at the kill at the end, does it always roar after being knocked down?

About the questions:
1- When Malzeno repositions himself with a side jump, there are two possibilities, the most common is that he attacks with his Wing like in the video and the other possibility is that he does an energy beam.
2- When you get the topple on Malzeno, you need to do enough damage so that when he gets up from the ground he always roar.
This made me realize I really need to use the uncharged strongarm stance more.

The best advice I can give is to practice and watch the monster for hours to understand the patterns and how the fight works.

1:04 how do you completely rotate after landing the counter?
Edit: ok, I figured it out! Activating the counter while holding forward (no matter if you’re charging or not) will always redirect you to where the camera is pointing at.
In case you decide to switch, this doesn't apply to directional control type 2. Type 2 is about your characters position rather than your camera position. So if your character is facing the opposite way from where you want, you have to pull back on the stick (hold S on mnk).

I have chosen this GS because it has 10% affinity, I like to go with a set with 100% affinity and not depend on 10% rng.
For example vs Saggy I do like to use a Gs with 0% affinity because with frenzy it gives you more chance to get critical even if you use a set with 80-90% affinity.
That KO you tried at the end, would have definitely made the run worst.

Well... I think he quick use for strongram stance. Maybe he tried stun to malzeno, he should be tackle time to time

En opciones, creo que en control, dice atacar al monstruo para montar, lo pones a solo apretar A y ya, lo unico malo que si quieres montar tienes que envainar
