Nice haul! That Coleman kit is not my favorite, however. Heavy on boo boo small little bandages and missing some important items: triangular bandage, moleskin, mylar blanket, whistle, tick remover, pain/stomach meds. General Medi has some small kits that start at less than $9 for 110 pieces. Much better base to build from than Coleman IMO. For example, I add some hydrocolloid bandages to my small first aid kits. Also, I think it's important to build a trauma kit for the car with Israeli compression bandages, tourniquet, quick clot wound seal, mylar blankets, trauma shears, triangular bandages, gauze pads/rolls, cloth tape etc.

Wiha is the best bits ive ever found. Im a 3rd generation mechanic. I highly recommend getting your bits from wiha they are indestructible as ive found.
Granted ive never heard of the brand you bought but i have tried every name brand and none come close to wiha. Just FYI.
Im not a big olight fan. I don't believe in my 56 years ive ever needed a pocket prybar. Many other tools are more useful.
I highly recommend sofrin lights or wuben. They are my go to lights.
Love holster bands they work amazing.

    Nice haul 👍
I'm embarrassed to share all the stuff I picked up. Consumerism!
I just got the scout carry straps for the Kizer Muskrat. It's great with the Ulticlip Slim 3.3 in pocket but I wanted my pockets free at times.
I've had the Wiha nub and torx set in my saved cart, in cart, and back to saved a lot. 😂 Eventually I'll pull the trigger.
I've been digging into big folders and fixed blades lately.
I might be trying small fixed blade + big folder this Winter.

For small fixed blade, I like my Civivi Circulus. 2" blade, 5" overall

Or the Civivi Mini Elementum Fixed blade is nice too. Though my G10 handles have popped off and made for a more skeletonized looking blade.

I'll admit to not being an expert with flashlight specs, but I've seen testing done on inexpensive flashlights bought on Amazon that made me leery. Many had bogus claims with their specs, especially run time and lumens. Not sure if the Nicron falls into that category, but I was surprised that they claimed 2 hrs run time at 1200 lumens with that small battery.

You know, I didn't even see that yet. I was too busy being angry at it malfunctioning. 😂 But yes, that is a very suspicious claim.

I have been eyeing that bison. Sorry for not knowing my steals good enough but is that stainless. I am a cook and only ise my personal knives to rip open bags for food products in a pinch but still want stainless for the job. Great video ty for sharing

It is a Sandvik stainless steel and made in Sweden. While not exactly the same, it holds very similar properties to the steel that Victorinox uses in their knives.

I got the imini 2 also in orange. I attached it to a front pocket zipper pull on my winter coat. I love the thing for a quick emergency light. Nice haul and yeah that flashlight.....nope.

For the Holster Builder straps, what size is the hardware; what size holes does it fit on the sheath? I have a CIVIVI Circulus and the holes on the sheath seem really small, or at least smaller than the ones on my Kizer

Unfortunately I can't find that information and I am not home for the next day or two. As soon as I get back, I'll measure it out for you.

If they have an item at the eBay Olight store, make an offer and they’ll usually accept a previous sale price. O pry wasn’t on it but I’ve got lots via that store when not on sale at the main site or Amazon. There’s less I don’t have from that store than do have. lol. My buying issues as well. 😂 . Anyway… fyi

I always forget about the Olight eBay store. Thank you for the reminder. And let's not forget about the TikTok shop. They have some great prices there too.

Dude, this is totally a spread I'd buy. In fact, I have a couple of things on the table! That wiha driver is well done. I love mine. It definitely has a place in the knife world. I have had the same idea with the clamp. I really need a third hand lol! Can you film your disassemble of the knife you need the vise for? I'm very, very intrigued. Btw that knife you want Scout Carry has a tech lock that can unscrew and turn sideways. I have the nextorch pioneer with a kydex sheath. I found that the big multitool rides too high and rubs on my love handle. Lol I know I need to lose weight but pain is messing up my life. I really like my multitool scout carry at at my four o'clock! Thanks for the video

Scout carry is the way to go for us bigger guys. I love the idea of doing it with a multi tool too.

Even though I like the O light brand, it always feel little over priced from my POV.

    • @SurvivingtheDaily
      @SurvivingtheDaily  22 години тому

100%! There are brands that produce the same if not better quality products for much cheaper. With Olight, you are paying for the name and the warranty.
