Just one small but important thing to know. RM Tocak doesn't use any effects on his guitar, I think he don't even use pedals. So imagine this sound strictly from your fingers. Real maestro.
Thank you so much for these reactions. By the way, his nickname "Točak" in Serbian language means "wheel" and he has a tattoo of a wheel on his right hand. For me he is the best guitar player in former Yugoslavia. If you find time, please search for "Smak - Maht pustinja" (1981) which, well known European jazz pianist, Bojan Z. covered as "Wheels" on his album "Xenophonia" (2006) as a tribute to Točak's specific guitar sound and musical imagination. Again thanks a lot, greetings and warm regards from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
I'm really feeling sad for foreigners man! You guys will never be able to understand how heavy this is!And all emotions we feel when we listening to this!Tocak is above masterclass in this!Good reaction though, keep it 100!Respect from Serbia !
RM Tocak plays a Macedonian traditional folk melody for the song Zajdi, zajdi. In the lyrics of this much loved song in the Balkans, the passing of the day and the sunset is used as a metaphor for the passing of youth and inevitability of old age ❤
Dear @RobkReacts I am a vinyl collector and a big audiophile. I have to congratulate you for this reaction. This is a cover of a Macedonian original song that Točak brought to Šumadija Rok style - Part of Serbia from where Radomir Mihailovic Točak is from. Točak is a unique and out-of-universe artist. I bought all the albums of the Smak group many years ago. I know that in a million years they will still be the best Serbian band.
Original old North Macedonian folk song - speaks about how time flies. Its very old, but best cover ever was by late Tose Proeski. His voice is just going through the soul. Tocak did a masterpiece on the guittar, and Tose did a masterpiece on the voice part
Once upon the time,Mr.Tocak and his band, were pre group to Deep Purple,in Belgrade.Played couple of their songs, and confused Deep Purple,so they waited to come up.Find that on internet
