I haven’t been able to price it yet since I don’t have the money to begin with. I’m hoping that it’s an easy fix but from the research I’ve done online it will not be cheap. I appreciate you though.

Dude, what's wrong with your rig? I own an I.T. company and there ain't a computer that I can't fix. I'm in Louisville too. Where you at? Check out one of my latest computer videos and you'll see what I can do.

This is my diagnosis without even seeing or touching your computer. THE VIDEO CARD IS OVERHEATING. Now that could be because of a few reason but my educated guess is that your card has a fan built onto it and that fan is no longer working. It has sucked up enough dust and dirt and has either quit spinning or is not spinning fast enough to do the card any good. Seen it a thousand times and that is why I refrain from using cheap video cards that have fans on them. The more expensive video cards also have fans but don't usually experience this issue because the fans are of a MUCH better quality and construction. Plus they are a LOT bigger. When you spend over a grand for a video card, you expect that thing to last forever. Mine always did. So if your build has a separate video card, I'm putting a month's pay on there's your issue.
Some motherboards have video cards that are built into them (on-board video), but the issue you are having seldom happens with on-board cards. However, you can't completely rule them out. If you by chance were using a video card that was built into your motherboard, that could still be fixable if your motherboard has a dedicated slot for a separate video card. All you would have to do is disable the on-board video in the motherboard's BIOS and then install a separate video card. You would boot the computer up with the separate card in place and then install the drivers in Windows. A relatively simple task but it can be tricky sometimes. If your card is separate, it's just a matter of replacing the bad card. The price will be whatever you deem necessary because the prices range from anywhere from $10 to "you got money coming out your ass." You can actually buy a decent USED card at places like Newegg.com for less than $20 that cost significantly more when they were new. A great way for someone on a budget to get a decent card without paying out the ass for it.
One thing that you can try. When you are rendering your edited video, you obviously have the window open that shows the video being rendered. Most good editing software will allow you to turn off that preview. That preview is very graphic intensive and that is what is heating up your card. If you turn off that preview option, you may be able to render the video without your computer crashing. This may be a temporary workaround that will hold you over until you get another working video card.
Another VERY CHEAP thing that you could do is remove the side door of your computer that allows you to see the video card. Get a desk fan that pushes a lot of air, set it DIRECTLY next to the open side of the computer and allow it to blow at full speed directly into your computer. We use to do this at LAN parties when I was a broke college student. Us poor folks had issues keeping our computers from crashing and locking up because of all the heat they created. A big ol' desk fan was the ghetto way to fix that issue but it worked wonders! Quite a few of us use to do that!
Unfortunately, if the on-board video goes bad and your motherboard will not accommodate a separate video card, that motherboard is toast. The only way to fix that issue is to replace the motherboard. If you cannot find an EXACT replacement, the job turns into whole different ball game and you may as well just build a new computer. But hey, we are not there yet.
If you brought me your computer, I'd look at it for free, just a Card fan helping out another. Let me know what you want to do. My way of giving back to someone who has given us Card fans a lot of love with these uploads. I normally record all of the games myself, render out all of the commercials and create a DVD of the games with menus. However, I haven't had the time like I use to (when I WASN'T married), so I've been using your uploads to do the same thing. I was dying to get that Duke game because that one will be a classic in my collection. Hopefully, someone will upload it.
      The ball's in your court!

Man, sorry to hear this. I have absolutely loved your uploads and was very much looking forward to the Pitt game since I had to miss it. If you were close to me (AL/TN line) I'd fix it for free or even give you an extra one.
