Thanks for watching! I’ve created a new second UA-cam channel, www.youtube.com/@HoopsaFC, which will be the home for all of my non-QPR football content (e.g England, Premier League, etc.) going forwards. If you like what I do, please considering subscribing there too! 💙
Spurs' fan here. My wife and I were in London for a over a week last year and wanted to see a Championship game. We were right down the street from Loftus Road, so we walked down for a match vs Birmingham. It was fantastic. I have kept up with the team since. Good to see you doing so well in the Championship and I love that Yang is going to get time with you guys. Hopefully, it pays off for both parties.
Looks a baller. Love seeing some of these younger gems getting a chance with QPR. Very exciting times.
He looks like a great talent. I think some time with QPR is a really good loan move for him. Hope he does well for you and that he develops well. Looking forward to having him back at Spurs!
양민혁 선수를 소개해주셔서 감사합니다. 지속적으로 관심있게 지켜보고 응원해주세요.😊❤
You guys got a helluva player. Tottenham made a big mistake loaning Yang out during a injury crisis. Good luck Min-Hyeok. QPR just got a new fan.
Looking forward to seeing him play!
Thank you so much for the heads up about Min Hyeok.Great info!!!! Good luuck Yang!!!
I am very excited about Yang. Hoopsa, your excellent, in depth feature on him has excited me all the more. Well done.
Thank you Gary!
If he does well then I can see us taking him again next season on loan
Great analysis. Very excited to see what this kid can do at the Championship level. If it works out we might end the season with a much more feared and productive offensive line. Assuming we also secure Harvey Vale at midfield (Madsen is a bust), and notwithstanding our thinness at left back, this would be a very sound transfer window for QPR. Only better news? Signing an extension with Jimmy Dunne.
I like to think they’re making us sweat on Dunne and it’s all tied up. Let’s see!
@HoopsaYT Hope you're right!
@HoopsaYT He is our replacment for Son when he retires or goes to other club
Gwangju on the introduced map is Gwangju, Jeollanam-do.
Yang Min-hyeok was born and raised in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, and it is very close to Seoul.
Gwangju, introduced on the map, is an area that is 4 hours away from Seoul. There are many similar names in Korea, but the two are very confusing, but they are completely different.
Yang Min-hyeok, who proved many things in the K-League at a young age, will definitely be a good talent, and Korean football fans will adapt well to the Premier League and become good players like Park Ji-sung and Son Heung-min.I got your back.
Cheering Yang Min-Hyeok!!
He is an awesome player!
With Jimmy behind him how can he not succeed!!!
Exactly!
All the best with the new channel…..
Any news on Jimmy's dwindling contract
@@Mrlange1976 I’m sure it’s being worked on!
Let's go to the promotion playoffs in the top six as the hero of the most goals scored in QPR's team this season.
This is an interesting one, Conor.
I'm quite looking forward to seeing him play, and I'm one of those people who believes you can never have too much of a good thing, and as I've always liked wingers, and his record for creating chances and assists is quite impressive, I am glad he's with us.
Come on you Rrrrrrsssss⚽️
I'm looking forward to spending time watching QPR's games~
I hope you become a world-class soccer player like Park Ji-sung and Son Heung-min!
Fighting!! Yang Min-hyeok
11:11 length of video. Angel numbers 😂 He's gonna be a star ! 6 months of heaven on earth from this guy commencing ...
It was meant to be 😁
Yang Min-hyuk played from the right in Gangwon FC, uses both feet well, complies with defense, has good determination, plays brilliantly, and has good speed and dribbling. In order to create synergy with him, breathing with the right wingback of QPR is more important than anything else. And when counterattacking with free rolls, it penetrates from the front to the center, so it often creates a one-on-one chance with the opposing goalkeeper. Similar to Gordon of Newcastle. Also his role model is Phil Foden of Manchester City.
If I predict his performance this season, he has six goals and two assists in 17 league games.
Looking forward to the “Who is Harvey Vale?” Video in a couple days haha
🤞
Like saito I'm hoping we buy him hes been brilliant if we dont get some other club will and it will be a championship side I'm guessing
He sounds like a superstar. Not sure where he will play now that Chair has re-signed. And Smithy has been playing well.
Great coup by rangers to get this man pacy winger sounds just the deal.be exiting to see him perform against other teams in this demanding league and weigh in with assists and goals for us.good luck min we are delighted your with us urrrrsssss
I was a little confused by this signing at first (e.g. going against our new model & it contradicts what we've heard about our own player development) but your points have made me feel a lot more confident. It does actually make a lot of sense. Defo feeling like we need someone to cover Paal. Hopefully Harvey Vale will strengthen midfield depth, & if Jimmy goes to Sheff Utd we get a replacement asap. It'd have to be a very good price for me, JD3 has to stay imo.
Wouldn't be surprised if he is in to adapt with view to a loan next season.
I hope many QPR fans will go to cheer for the Millwall expedition.
Well researched Conor. 👏 A fascinating prospect. I think he will need time to adjust to the championship. But I also think he will create a few good surprises, especially if he has a burst of speed and can dribble his markers. He may even score though my expectation is controlled as he still is a youngster and learning his trade. Thanks mate. 👍
Should have made his first appearance for Spurs tbh, he looks decent
He is Son regen!
It's certainly a left field one from Nourry (or right field). Then only thing I know is that I have a few friends who follow Spurs and they'll actually quite alarmed that he's been sent out on loan given their problems. All we know about him is that he belts about like a greyhound and could actually make Smyth (who is really quick) actually look slow. Why not? Let's see. Could be a surprise package. Now we just need to stop torturing the fans and lock down Dunne's contract!!
I think that says quite a lot about Spurs’ situation that they want an 18 year old with no experience of English football involved, injuries or not…
It's good to have another ballplayer in the squad, but I wonder if he can stand up to the physical side of the Championship.
@robertkimmins4004 that is primarily who he has been loaned out - to toughen him up. If he is as quick as Saito at adapting - we are onto a winner!
The way you described his style of play you could have, more or less, been talking about Trevor Sinclair.
Really hope your assessment is correct.
He’s exciting from what I’ve watched. Just a question of whether it translates from the K League to the Championship…
Hopefully an upgrade on smyth, hes a crafty player always gets us cheeky fouls by diving but always gives away silly fouls around our box 😂 cant fault him for effort though
He will have done exceptionally well to be an upgrade on Smyth. One of our best players on this run we've had. Works tirelessly and always makes things happen or creates a buzz when he gets the ball. That said, if he can be another option with pace and skill on the right then that's something to look forward to. With Dembele coming back though, Marti will find it hard to give them all regular playing time.
Seems like a sensible bit of business to be honest
We need wingers and he’s a winger 🤷🏻♂️
His first name is Min-Hyeok, Yang is his surname. You probably know that but sometimes Asian people find westerners calling them by just their surname a bit rude, so just a heads up in case you get an interview once his english is better. Great appraisal by the way. this lad is really quick over 30 years too
hope he is quick over 30-yards or we could be waiting a fair while ;)
Like any footballer, if you're speaking them directly you address the by their honorific unless you're on first name times. But surname is standard for speaking about them, just as in football commentary.
Thanks mate. I checked first re: his name, the written QPR club interview refers to him as Yang, as does the Spurs article (and others covering the story like BBC etc). Same way they would for Son. Hopefully I’ve got it right. Appreciate the heads up!
@HoopsaYT Ahh, That may be because he's young, Koreans have a very strict "even a day older makes you my superior" honour scale in their culture. All good! Let's hope he does us proud for a few months and we gains some brownie points with spurs :)
Ha ha ha 😅@@danabrahams7892
Koreans don’t like the word South Korea, they prefer just Korea…
Wasn’t sure on this one, good to know 🙏
@@jonowhitney5515 Koreans believe there is only one Korea and the North is a misguided province.
The Smyth debate will always be a touch subject, especially when there is no other option but to play him. My mate loves Smyth because he gives his all and gets us corner kicks. I find him very frustrating. I can't fault is effort, but when he wins us a corner, it's more than likely the actual cross was weak in the first place along with taking 2 touches too many. Also, a goal from a corner kick ratio in the Championship is like 3 percent. I'm hoping Yang-Min Hyeok will be able to get them crosses in and find one of our players in the box.
4:26 4:27 4:28
If Smyth's crossing was brilliant he's be a 30 million pound player plying his trade in the premier league, what he does great for QPR is he gets us up the pitch and into attacking positions and we have no one else on the right who can do that but we have Chair and Saito on the left who can.
Yeah he needs to take over from Paal he cannot take corners properly.
Good addition you r'ssssss
Are these spurs players anything to do with les connections?
He’s been gone 18 months now, so no!
If he's that good then I hope we can keep him permanently.
Sadly I don’t think that’s a possibility with the length of the deal he’s just signed with Spurs.
3.3billion? 4:18
Million 😄
QPR is not far off from 6th place and making the playoffs. When Tottenham players leave the club they win things. I can see QPR winning the playoffs and promotion to PL with Yang as your forward.
Ashby cover? 🤣
First Ronnie, now Yang. Both seem decent players, but is training players of two teams who will relegate to the championship next year.....naw just ribbing tottenham a bit.
Not excited. Not sure where QPR gets any benefit, developing players for other clubs. We should be targeting loan players where we get an option to buy - only!
