I had a total crush on Christina Vidal. I was about 12 when this show came to Nick. Christina is very funny and such a wonderful singer. She sounds like Selena a little bit. Taina was such a wonderful show but got cancelled much too soon. I think Nick is kicking their own ass for that.
I know the music rocked!!! I doubt the show would be put on DVD. That's why I'm glad we can find them all here on UA-cam. I loved the man who played her grandfather. He cracked me up. Reminds me of my grandfather. He had a colorful sense of humor too. I miss him.

The girl is the "Quinceañera" because she is the one turning 15. Calling the party a "Quinceañera" is technically incorrect. De nada. :)
yeah. however on here, christina's tv mother was played by *lisa valez* (also known as lisa lisa). she too was born in the 60's like christina's real life sister, making them only 14-16 years older than her. (lisa *valez* was born in 1967 and lisa vidal was born in 1965)
I asked myself the same question. It only lasted 2 seasons when it could have gone on another 3. And the second season got more viewers as you said. Christina Vidal is very funny and has more talent than a lot of the actresses that I see in sitcoms today. I could see her in another sitcom. I write it myself if I have to. I'm sure Tom Hanks will help me produce it if I can find him. Wish me luck with that.

Ok, I dnt have an ounce of Spanish anything in me but I do know from taking Spanish classes since high school (college sophmore) that the language and some words do differ frm country to country which would probably explain why they pronounce it with an O as opposed to an A.
