    Hi Julie!
Being a young mother of little children has to make you organized. So many things the children need. I used baskets and shelving. But make sure your shelves are tethered so when the kids use them they don’t fall down on them. Or just buy light ones so when they do they don’t get hurt. I used baskets open and closed. I found it important to allow them to find their own toys and put them away easily and quickly. Books all over the places and little chairs for them to sit near lighting so they can read or look at the books. I did not have any plants near them bc of dirt spills and toxic leaves I did not know about. They have their own routines. My job was to facilitate that. I see you do that too! 👍🏻🥰 I don’t have a pantry room either. But I had a furniture like cabinet installed in the breakfast room used for extra dry goods and cleaning supplies. I also gave my neighbors a lot of things after the kids were grown. Strollers books toys bicycles etc. They very much appreciated that! Nice way to get to know them better. You look terrific! Please do fall into winter transition video. ❤️🥰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you Margaret! I have gotten way more organized (and way more minimal 😆) as the kids have grown. The toy clutter is exponential these days, the less the better for sure!

@JulieKhuu . When I open my front door there's a mirror directly facing my front door. However when you look into the mirror you see trees it's my front garden. We live on a very busy road so there's constantly cars and noise up and down. I'm renting here and doubt I can remove the mirror if you say it's not good having the mirror there or can I have something in front of the mirror for e.g.. those wooden stands. Thank you

@@y23323 My hall mirror faces the front door too. So l placed a hall table underneath and the top shelf has living plants. The dragon tail plant is fantastic for height and it can be trained to grow around the frame of the mirror.
So the lower half of the mirror reflects the dragon tail plant.
My timber front door also has 2 vertical glass panels that have a layer of etched film effect which obsures the outside.

@@mariastathopoulos744 Thank you so much for the advice. I will do this as well. I was thinking of putting something infront of the mirror but was not sure what. Having a mirror directly oposite your front door is so confusing. Some say it's not good others say it will bounce people's negativities back to them when the inter your home.🤷‍♀️ it never really bothered me before until I decided to look up the best dining room tables😁and came across feng shui.

Julie, plz plz plz - can you advise me or do a video on what to do with my home office. Im so paranoid about the Feng Sui in which I've never worried about until l turned my spare room into a home office. I've had no choice but to push my desk facing the wall. However, the wardrobe is facing my back, not the entrance door but l cannot see if anyone is walking in. I got my partner to remove the wardrobe doors & l placed my dresser in there that looks neat & tidy. My window is on the side of my desk. I cannot have the desk facing the entrance door bc the room isn't huge but it looks quaint. Can you talk about how & where to put a mirror above my desk so l can see who's walking in? What is the best mirror to place above my desk & can l put a nice mirror on my desk that faces the entrance door? I need to buy some beautiful plants but without over doing it for my desk. Please help 🙏
