David is a noble man of God. An example to me of one who cares for the one.. and those who stand in need. A quiet servant of great power and strength. I'm so grateful to be a cousin to David Finn Paulsen and share the same middle name and am doing my best to bring honor to that name and the legacy of faith he inherited from his father (Finn) and built upon so beautifully. Thank you so much for sharing this. David and Deirdre are my temple teacher in 2019. Because of their teaching, I was able to learn more about the gospel. He has been my idle example to serve others. We have a chance to serve in My Hometown and he said to me: James, I saw you everywhere and it is so great to see you. We love you.

This was a beautiful walk through his life! Presidente Paulsen was consistently there for me not only on the mission field but also through important moments 20+ years afterwards. He truly lead by example and touched so many lives! Tu amo Presidente. Até logo!

Wade, thank you for posting this wonderful video. I love, love, loved it. It was so fun to see the pictures of his kids all grown up. He and Deirdre have a beautiful family. David is not an all around good man, but an all around GREAT man. I got to work for David and Abel for six years and he was kind, honest, hardworking and fun. I know he has also always made service a big part of his life. He is a such a wonderful example. I’m so thankful to have him for a cousin.

David was a friend and college roommate of my husband. Mark (McConkie) always spoke kindly about David Paulsen. I am grateful for friends who inspire and David surely falls into that category.
He was a best friend! I remember when I asked my Dad if he knew my friend Rebecca McConkie’s dad Mark. He said, “Mark Louis?” And I said, “No. Mark McConkie.” Then I realized he was a middle-name-best friend.
