    A lot of respect to these wardens. They blow hard,and soft,in equal measure,laying down the law in a fair humane manner. This in turn will put the illegal hunters on notice,and also gain the support of the people they encounter. Hats off,keep up the great work.

    I’m not a hunter,I can see where wardens showing up and checking hunts and camps would kinda piss people off..yet,it keeps everyone honest and accountable..most do the right thing,but you’ll always have that select few that’ll ruin it for others..

    135 dollars at risk to shoot a giant muley doesn’t sound all that discouraging. Should be waaay higher of a fine for that stunt they pulled

      They also have to go in front of a judge and that person can pull their license for poaching.

    As a RMEF member this really pi$$es me off when other member's knowingly allow other hunters to take illegal game. Here in WA state its almost impossible to get an Elk. The state will happily issue you a very expensive tag, but because of nonsense like this, you can't really hunt anywhere. Plus out of state landowners buy up good Elk property and refuse to let hunters take game. Also too many cities allow feeding of Deer, the Deer are no longer up in the foothills to hunt. I'm glad Montana fines individuals for feeding wild game. I haven't bought a Deer or Elk tag since 2018 because of the inability to hunt good areas due to wildlife living in the cities and the DNR consistently blocks off good hunting grounds with their damned gates which you must pay 250 dollars for a key that's only good for 1 year. One of these year's I will travel to Montana where hunting is still looked upon as natural.

    The difference between some legal, but gruff people who just want to be left alone, innocent larch ball hunters, F&W doin their job and the variety of outdoors people engaged in illegal activity is somewhat obvious, a little bemusing, eye opening and revelatory of human nature.
    On the other hand it's a little blood chilling to think about the minute differences that may or may not clue a ranger in to when he's dealing with someone who could be a little desperate, deranged or a stone cold killer.
    There are a few bad apples among the F & W, and game wardens, but my hats off to all the good officers and state workers making it work for jq public. Cheers!
    Ps, I'm a little surprised they don't have a portable card reader to pay fines in the field (where/when they can get a signal).

    I have the upmost respect for almost all FWP wardens however Bryan Golie is not one of them. Bryan is confused as to what part of law enforcement he is in. On several occasions Bryan has strayed into trying to interpret Montana Fish and Game Statues in the field. Bryan’s responsibility is to enforce the statutes as written period. It is a judges job to interpret whether Bryan has lawfully applied the statute. On another note FWP and the state of Montana allow the big ranches owned by rich out of staters and big name outfitters to steal big game from hard working Montana hunting families. Forget wolves the real predators in Montana are real estate brokers who are selling out Montanans left and right and the outfitters who Help out of staters steal Montana’s big game. Of course the fwp and the state don’t have any trouble taking thier blood money.

      he is saying deer can't see orange, the reason we wear it is, so we don't have a fist sized hole coming out of our lungs. So, in conclusion, you wear camo to blend in because the deer know the land because it's their home, and you wear orange (which deer can't see) to save yourself from other hunters. But to confuse you more, when turkey hunting (here in Florida) it is not mandatory to wear blazer orange because the turkey have a keener eye and can see the color orange.@@vhwft

      @@jacobcyr8432 so again , if the deer can’t see orange, what’s the point in wearing camo to blend in. You could just wear a full orange jumpsuit and it would be the same. Isn’t positioning more important then the outfit, seems more people need to learn how scents work more then try to hide in camo.

    • @jacobcyr8432
      @jacobcyr8432 8 місяців тому

      @@vhwft scent is a big part of blending in yes. And you can were full orange, but you’d get a few funny names thrown at you. But again those deer can walk those woods in their sleep that’s how much they know it. Camo would help blend in with surroundings, trees, bushes…etc. if you were to wear just complete orange even though they can’t see the color they’ll see just one shade and will know something is up. And with the scent if you’re high enough in your stand it’ll carry over.

    31:36 the creepy as song they put when two old guys are being real nice to each other. Compared to the heroic songs they play when a cop doesn't issue a dui to a drunk driver. What planet is this production crew from? Is this a white people ftom Montana perspective thing? Guys the music only works if it matches the situation. Yes I know about film production, I've won an award before 1st place

      long gun can be both rifle and shotguns. Name comes from having a long barrel. Which shotguns and rifles both can have, which on the other hand both can have "pistol" length barrels.
