I am a rancher in Australia and have been watching the Montana Wardens for some time now. In another life it would be a job I would love to take up. Like the Wardens protection of wildlife is critical for most Australian ranchers. Congratulations Jeff on a fine career I have seen you in action on the channel and you always showed fairness and dedication. Good luck going forward from Down Under.
It is not a shame that the world needs guys like them ? We do here in Africa fighting on lost post. But I do my best to provide anti poacher units or people with needed equipment.
Where abouts in AUS are you? I’m on the South East Coast of NSW & I feel the exact same way. Would love to have been a Game Warden! Do you hunt your property?
@@-dystopic- hey, I guess your message went to the wrong address..., I am from Germany how lives the most of the year down in Namibia or South Africa.... Greetings, Thomas
Happy retirement. And man the show will not be the same without you you really made it something special and showed us the laws and how passionate people should be and how passionate that the fish and game wardens are and you are just one of a kind and I hope your retirement is well and you still keep hunting and fishing and doing what you do thank you for everything that you've done for us and the show.
DUDE!! STOP THIS THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE BS!! WAS THERE A DRAFT?? OK!!! YOU SIGNED UP FOR THAT JACK!😂😂😂 HEY GOD FEARING BILLY!! YOU SIGNED UP FOR IT!!!! USUALLY IT MEANS ITS THE LAST STRIKE, OR YOUR SCARED!😂😂 CHUMP HAS RUINED YOU CLOWNS!😂😂😂😂😂
You are the real deal, a man with honesty, integrity, commom sense, and so many more positive attributes. Being a former cop in Northern Ontario, Canada, I wished I could have worked by your side, as unfortunately, many of my colleagues were criminals themselves, from the top down, and that is why I quit. What a nice tribute to your loving wife.....You are such an example to what a real man is. >>Wishing you a happy retirement....well earned, Sir!
I remember when I first the episode in which Jeff Darrah retired, I was bummed yet happy for him. He's a good man. I think Kyle Miller did a great job being firm, yet fair with the fisherman he encountered. Community policing with honest people at its best!
This is where I live and we have some nasty poachers in the area so I’m glad we have some solid wardens out here doing everything they can to put a stop to it.
I greatly appreciate the warden who allows for unintentional mistakes!!! Most of us try very hard to follow the regs. Poachers are hated like non other by law abiding sportsman!
Obviously...but how about the idiots that catch and release? and have these fishing shows, that catch and release them critters as fast as they can...they have no respect for MOTHER NATURE...🙏✌️😁
Some people own land that has cash crop or money on it. Varmits destroy them. And some animals are over populated thanks to people not shooting varmits and doing a little pest control. Circle of life baby. A bear would kill you if you walk into its cave wouldn’t it? The answer is yes. Does it want to no. But it will protect what’s his. It’s the rawest form of nature.
Happy Trails Captain. Thanks for your service. I certainly hope those killer's get caught. Poaching is one thing. Taking game outside of season to feed your family is understandable if not condoned. But killing game just to kill is outrageous and it makes hunting very difficult because certain areas get closed, private land is no longer available, cuz ranchers get pissed off and no longer trust anyone, and new redundant and ridiculous regulations make it harder for the rest of us to have an effective hunt and feed our families.
Thank you for your service sir !!! I lived in Mt. until my wife demanded we move to mn. that failed so off to home in wa. we can't all live in paradise .
I just recently came across this show and absolutely love it!! As a truck driver it's not always easy to get into shows but this one I do watch every chance I get!
Congratulations on your 26 years of service! I’ve hunted out of the Alberton area with my friend that is a guide beautiful area. Enjoy your retirement! Now I hope when caught you don’t let up on those murderers who poached what 20 plus bucks! No making deals no nothing but lots of prison time but getting them out of society is best as it was deer then but they could get bored and move on to two legged game?
remember just because you are done at the office doesn't mean you are through being a game warden you have a phone you have your eye's use them and protect our natural resources as long as you breathe.
They should look for someone who got busted by wardens before , poaching ( and leaving them ) is the way their getting revenge . The best wardens are formally poachers and know all the tricks
I visited Montana 27 years ago.. always wanted to see for myself...and glacier national Park specifically.....met a local guy that said firearms are illegal in the park, BUT , he'd never go in there without a weapon...(Grizz, you know)..... beautiful country, and if you don't mind the wind, coooold winters, violent thunder storms, or wild fires...a great place to live...🙏✌️😁
Those were NOT the indangered west slope cutthroat, those were hybrid with rainbows. Sad that the carpet laws doesn't help the situation that it was intended for
I’m a retiring businessman with many business success in my resume . I also am a nature, and all kind of animal true lover, if I was not in business I, would’ve been a Game-warden in a New York min. specialty in one of our northern states to protect this grate ,beautiful land, nature and animal of ours . I still wish I could and would ❤do that with no pay ,just sewer me in and give me bag ! I even buy everything including a truck and whatever equipment needed to put those illegal hunters/ poachers behind bars
Next week on wardens, a family picnicking is believed to be up to something sinister, and a man who just helped a little old lady across the street and is now helping a motorist with a flat tire is wearing camo and is assumed to be a mass murderer. “Wardens; we see civilians and assume the worst”
I've got a list of questions that I bet the warden will be asking as well. Who was denied hunting privileges on these properties? Who has a grudge against the property owners? Who is opening a new hunting l property? Who had their vehicle destroyed, running into a deer in recent times . Did somebody lose a family member in a traffic accident where a deer got hit in the road? coinciding with the startup of all these illegal shots? Any one of these answers could lead to suspect . Wasting these animals is bad enough. Out of season compounds it to a point where it's an excusable under any circumstances.
If I was you I would check with every Sporting Goods store pawn shop any store it would carry ammo like that where the Hilton narrow it down a little bit
People in our area get nuisance permits to thin the populations and some of them dont want to deal with the deer after shooting them so they purposely wound them so they run off and die somewhere else. Kills me
It seems such a shame it cant be left for nature. I get there ate reasons for that decision but still, there must be a use for it some where. Even the hide or the bones. So wastefull. I have garnered such knowledge from this program.
I meet Jeff years ago he is a good man. Thanks for your year's of service.

Wow! The retirement of Captain Jeff Darrah almost brought me to tears!

Good job brother! 26 years! Well done!! You deserve Beer! Happy retirement!
Yeah - time for a beer. Been retired for 8 years, 34 years a Peace Officer. Bravo all you guys 'n gals.

Hope your retirement is perfect. Thanks for all of your awesome work. Hope your guys will catch those poachers.
I greatly appreciate the warden who allows for unintentional mistakes!!! Most of us try very hard to follow the regs.
Poachers are hated like non other by law abiding sportsman!
Beautiful country there boys! I'm envious!
The fish guy was super duper lucky!!!!! I love the Easter egg hunt MT style
I've never been able to understand why anyone would shoot any animal and just leave it. If you're not going to eat it don't kill it.
Obviously...but how about the idiots that catch and release? and have these fishing shows, that catch and release them critters as fast as they can...they have no respect for MOTHER NATURE...🙏✌️😁

This guy has never set an mouse trap 💀
This is what I came here to say. Unbelievable.
My daughter said it causes chronic wasting disease, leaving deer like that. Healthy deer eat the grass where the deer decayed and get sick.
Yoooo he’s always been my fav hope the best for you sir happy retirement 🙏🏼
Congratulations 🎉🎉 thank you for your service and please enjoy your family I'll miss seeing you in the Wardens❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for your service 🙏
Thank you to all Wardens
These are the coolest wardens ive ever seen!
Thank you for your service sir !!! I lived in Mt. until my wife demanded we move to mn. that failed so off to home in wa. we can't all live in paradise .
This whole video is great. I love their humor, its the same as when I was growing up.
I just recently came across this show and absolutely love it!! As a truck driver it's not always easy to get into shows but this one I do watch every chance I get!
Unreal. Eejit catches 3 endangered trout. Warden just tickets him as if they were simply too small. Eejit either knew, or should have known.
The nicest law enforcement people in the US
Watching these videos, reminds me of reading Louis L'Amour books❤
Littering ticket for that was a real cool move by the officer
It is very good that you give a lot of credit to your wife. We're carrying you through for being there for you.
It's a good thing. Don't forget.
Happy Retirement and enjoy the next chapter in your life .

26 YEARS ! YOU LOOK AO YOUNG! 20 MORE WOULD BE GREAT WITH THE BOYS! ❤CONGRATS ENJOY
Yes I appreciate the info of how often we have to defend ourselves.
They should look for someone who got busted by wardens before , poaching ( and leaving them ) is the way their getting revenge . The best wardens are formally poachers and know all the tricks
Good job guys
Sweet deal @ 5:15 ! Cool Warden !
Congratulations sir on your retirement.
Happy retirement, turn the page and a new chapter begins.
Wounded warriors aswome job guys
I’ve been up and down that road several times over the years….almost always some species of big game present.
Guns are not illegal in the park. Maybe they once were, but people realized we need to defend ourselves out in the middle of nowhere and fixed it.
Congratulations
Nice work Jeff
I remember this live in kalispell Mt fing poachers
Police around the nation should take note from these guys on how to conduct proper police work and investigations.
Congratulations on retirement ! 🏞 🇺🇸
Do not know the numbers of poachering in the States, but here in the southern Africa the numbers rising up from year to year.
5:48 chill asz game warden 👍
cool job
Those were NOT the indangered west slope cutthroat, those were hybrid with rainbows. Sad that the carpet laws doesn't help the situation that it was intended for
Goodman, enjoy your retirement you definitely deserve it.
Congrats Jeff now get out and do some hunting and fishing for game not the criminals.
I just started watching this. Is this show new? Just saw a game warden using a flip phone. I didn't know those were still made
Another comment said 2013.
👍👍👍 Awesome
Those shell casings shown at beginning of show were not 22. Look more like9mm.
I'm betting a youngster with his first rifle and beers is the poacher.
It’s wanton waste and it can’t be tolerated.
man i feel bad for the guy with the cut throught
I’m a retiring businessman with many business success in my resume .

Do the wardens use any drones? You could cover a lot more remote territory
One thing for sure is that you would come first in dragging something out
They start out high risk because the individual they are pursuing is normally armed, and in the act of a felony.
For the people who dont know, This episode came out in 2013
Congratulations on ur retirement Jeff
Happy Retirement.
I'm from Texas and I wish you a great retirement
Why would anyone shoot any thing and just leave it to rot theses people should be sent to jail for a very long time
There was a guy shooting deer close to there last year, wonder if it was the same guy.
Next week on wardens, a family picnicking is believed to be up to something sinister, and a man who just helped a little old lady across the street and is now helping a motorist with a flat tire is wearing camo and is assumed to be a mass murderer.
“Wardens; we see civilians and assume the worst”
FOUND THE POACHER!!!!
who the hell poaches deer and just leaves them. and not just one but multiple
@ 41:00 these cops admit they dont even care about the people who are telling their stories..
This is scary stuff.
@FD Real
Warden Krane,oh the irony.
Wouldn’t poachers want the antlers I don’t get it
What part of the Constitution, which you've sworn to uphold, allows you to do this?
?!?
Why are they so lenient? Fine for littering but not drunk driving?
Why are people so greedy and follow the rules, cost of hunting license is minimal!!!
Need this on the texas / Mexico border
Congrats to the one retired hope you have a great retirement
That would be probably every ammo store, plus online stores...
They do that for us in Ohio sometimes . But most of us vets don't really need help shooting lol
Depends what state some states could charge you criminally for something like that.
how many jeff darrahs are there in montana? i went to school with one
This show is a poachers dream to be educated on their enemies tactics!!! Im sure they are your biggest followers & fans!!!
Is it poaching or just killing
But seriously if you wear broncos gear you like your steak well done.
Or something like that don't know if it's possible but I think that si se puede
24:41 no trouts in spain?? come on dude!!🤣
I am a Hunter since I was young , but this is not a Hunter, It must be really sick people doing this
I live here. This isn't cool. And no media attention.
Can’t imagine how bad those deer smell. Imagine a skunk poacher lmao. I’d quit and go work somewhere else
People in our area get nuisance permits to thin the populations and some of them dont want to deal with the deer after shooting them so they purposely wound them so they run off and die somewhere else. Kills me
That’s messed up. I hate to see deer hit by cars know this it’s a resource that’s getting squeezed by people
It seems such a shame it cant be left for nature.
I get there ate reasons for that decision but still, there must be a use for it some where. Even the hide or the bones.
So wastefull.
I have garnered such knowledge from this program.
