    one thing i want to add is if your training biking as well or some other form of cardio that’s heavy on the knees or weight lifting be very careful i was biking way to much at once because of how easy it is to maintain it and be at a higher speed compared to my running which had a stronger base and worked up slower. now im dealing with what i believe is patellar tendonitis and my knee seems to be swelled slightly as well. cant stress enough how
    important is it to have a strong base going to the gym just 3 times a week or 2 will decrease injury chances significantly. especially stretching before running or any type of training as well. you might not notice or feel a difference but in the long run you’ll eventually get injured when you neglect certain aspects of your training trust me
