I own a boat with a 225 hp Mercury. My best guesstimate is $100/hour to cruise that boat with those engines. Depending of course in the cost of fuel. It’s more here in Canada. You also have to factor in regular 100 hour maintenance for each engine which for these would add another $25/hr. So $125/hr approx one would need to plan to spend. Each engine would costs about $50k US including tax. A guy at my marina has a 42 foot Sea Ray with twin diesels and he closes in on $400/hr.
@@renko9067 I was pretty sure operating a boat like the one in the video required some deep pockets. I plan on getting a center console 23’-29’ but I want to stay away gas guzzlers (I am aware fuel economy and boats don’t go together) I’ve been looking up a few boats in the 23’ range at at around 40-45 mph the fuel usage is around 20 gph, but going at 20 mph their usage is cut in half. Thanks for your reply
Beautiful boat. Regulator 31 with 2X Yamaha 425.XTO is super.
Beautiful boat. I recently bought a place in Destin and my next move will be a boat.
Nice job Chris. Beautiful boat.
Great job Chris, best show and tell by far. A question are you a captain as well as a salesman?
If possible would like to see you do a show and tell on the 28 regulator. Is it possible to install sea keeper on the 28?
Would you take this boat to The Bahamas?...
To call it a gas guzzler is probably an understatement, I really wonder what the gph is at cruse speed.

If you are considering $500k boat, gph does not matter. Safety, ride, and high end finishes are all that matter.
You need at least a million to own this boat
