    A breathless Mongoose inadvertently “hardtailing” his way down a black route with no warm up. Splendid.

    Great vid Donald, I admire your honesty and not editing out the less glamorous parts. I used to ride up there on a weekly basis but not been for years. Give me a shout next time you're heading up there and I might join you. Thanks for filming, Andy

      Cheers Andy, there were certainly a lot of less than glamorous bits on this occasion! 🤣🤣🤣 Think I was just tired. I'll definitely be back as I'd like to give the trails a proper go and to check some of the other ones out that I didn't have time to do. I'll give you a shout. 😁🤙🤙🤙

    I say, well done bud, you gave it a go and that's what counts. 👍 I know you weren't 'feeling it' that much on some sections, we all get days like that. I've not even been there but have been meaning to. The best thing about mountain biking is the camaraderie displayed by those who take [art in it. 🤘

      Thanks Ricardo😁 It's a fantastic place and I'll definitely be back, I'm sure I'll do a lot better next time. Its well worth a visit, there are quite a lot of trails there some pretty steep ones too. Yeah, the camaraderie is definitely one of the best things about mtb. Cheers mate.😁🤙🤙🤙

    Yo Muddy! Nice video mate! How do you like our local trails then? We are so lucky to have them on our doorstep. You did well there, they are quite technical in places! If you fancy a tour around give me a shout and I’ll show you around next time!
    Thanks for the shout outs, much appreciated!
    You also need to get on the ⚡️ train! 😂. Soooo much more fun!
    Catch you later Donald. 👍

      Hi Pete, I really enjoyed the trails. The scenery there, too, is amazing. Unfortunately, I was having an off day. I just couldn't concentrate, and that was making me chicken out of stuff, but that didn't stop me from having a great time. I really enjoy watching your videos Pete and as mentioned that's what inspired me to visit. I'll need to have a look at the steeper stuff there too next time, there was no way I was going near it the way I was riding that day.🤣🤣🤣 Cheers mate, I might just take you up on your offer.😁🤙🤙🤙

      @@muddymongoosemtb9873 Thanks mate. Sometimes it’s just not your day mate, it happens, don’t beat yourself up.
      Yeah drop me a message anytime, but give me plenty of notice and we’ll get you down these features! 👍

    that looked a good day out👍 some of them sections were defo a bit spicy. It's always harder first time down though isn't it. I look forward to the day I can ride sections like that blind, with confidence

    • @muddymongoosemtb9873
      @muddymongoosemtb9873  Рік тому

      Yeah some of it is pretty spicy mate. There are some very steep downhill trails there too but aren't on this video as I wasn't up for attempting anything like that on this occasion. Like you've been explaining in your videos, I too have been struggling with my fitness and I think that my lack of fitness and low energy adds to the sketchy feeling. Only one thing for it, get out more and practice. 😁 Cheers mate🤙🤙🤙

    Remember getting lost on Route 77 first time riding, that steep section coming down North Third is something else wouldn't do it either good to see trails dry makes a difference cheers for sharing Donald! 😁🤙

    Brilliant Donald well done. You always give yourself such a hard time but there are some def gnarly features there. Although you didn't do it today you should def check out jump line. It's fairly short but lots of fun and the jumps are all small. It's a black on trailforks but I'd say it's def more of a blue or red run.

      Thanks Robert, I really wanted to check out the jump lines and will do when I return, I ran out of time and energy! 🤣🤣🤣 It's a great place, fantastic scenery 👌 😁 Cheers.
