Go ahead without any hesitation or fear. I have done it to my S24 plus bought from Dubai and using it in India for the ladt 5 months without any glitch. Call recording, Gpay, Samsung Wallet etc all are working fine, and I am getting all the updates from Samsung, Play store.

Will changing csc changed the imei number?, since i came from a country where the imei will need to be registered, else i will not be able to use their internet service (imei block) and will changibg csc using samfw tool factory reset my device (OXE)
As this is changing to official Samsung software, I can't imagine someone will refuse your warranty. You can always go back to original csc for a second.

International phones lack mmwave anthenas, which are mainly used in the USA and Canada, which is why I'm skeptical.

In SamFw Tool 4.9 there is no option "Change CSC" under ADB, only under Root? So, do I have to use this one?
As of SamFw Tool v4.9 and above the "change CSC" option has been moved to "MTP" tab.

Sorry but you can't do nothing. Your device is for north America region and you can't switch to other CSC
In version 4.9 the change csc is available under root and mtp so from where did i change csc from mtp or from root? sm-9080 is my model

It's easy enough to switch between THL, ILO and INS just try which one suits you best in my opinion it'll be THL.

Just write your exact model on the samfw website, and if csc's for ins, thl, or ilo appear, go for it. As shown in the video.

If it's not showing on the app then your device can't switch CSC because it's a different model with hardware differences

Go ahead without any hesitation or fear. I have done it to my S24 plus bought from Dubai and using it in India for the ladt 5 months without any glitch. Call recording, Gpay, Samsung Wallet etc all are working fine, and I am getting all the updates from Samsung, Play store.

Some areas has different network aggregation and probably you need to try other.
I just tried INS now and is the same thing... Not receiving 5G signal.

I changed some of the CSC to ILO, but unfortunately I don't have OTA updates. Does anyone know how to make the updates work? Unfortunately, I cannot go back to the previous CSC because the SamFw program requires the purchase of credits and does not detect the phone

Will changing csc changed the imei number?, since i came from a country where the imei will need to be registered, else i will not be able to use their internet service (imei block) and will changibg csc using samfw tool factory reset my device (OXE)

As this is changing to official Samsung software, I can't imagine someone will refuse your warranty. You can always go back to original csc for a second.

It's u1 and that means it's US version and you can't switch CSC but you can try to find more languages with apps like More Locale 2
