do you still get software updates after changing the CSC? can changing the CSC cause any damage to the phone? I just bought my phone from the UAE and have to use it in India and this phone will not let me use Samsung Wallet or call recording in India.
Do you have to crank up the volume so the external mic can hear what’s being said through the earpiece, or is it actually recording the audio signal (like the original ACR did)?
Thanks for this! I used to record my calls for my work and eventually I couldn't get it to work unless my phone was rooted. But super happy to get this back. I traded my Fold 4 for the s24u. The outside screen on the Fold is too small and I can't type correctly on the tiny screen. The unfolded screen is great, but I use the front screen most of the time. I miss the REAL S-Pen also. :)

Hi Jeff, I currently have an S22 Ultra and I have cube ACR installed along with the helper. When I get my S24 Ultra, and I download it from the Galaxy Store rather than the Play Store, will it find my old recordings from my S22 Ultra?
I backed mine up and then restored them

It's not a big deal just drains battery and I've noticed some quality issues with it

I just got a new S24+. I downloaded the Cube ACR from the Galaxy Store but it is not working. It records the phone calls but there is no sound when I play back the recording. Any advise as to why mine is not working. Thanks.
Same problem
I have the same phone. My Cube ACR only works with the speaker phone and with the phone up to my ear. It does NOT work with Bluetooth devices. Hope that helps.

so glad the galaxy store version works. i can record cellular calls, signal, telegram and whatsapp. however calls make via Google Voice is not being recorded. is this your understanding? also, i set the auto-recording delay to 0.0, still it adds a 1-2 seconds blank in front.

Only records my voice (not caller on the other end) for me on unlocked US S24 ultra. Not sure what's wrong.
It's patched, idk if because using ATTnanosim from a locked phone but if so would just switch to Tmobile but this is going to get patched anyway like to see someone with this after the Feb update..
@@brandonrichuski7759 hmm. I'm using unlocked on T-Mobile and it didn't work properly for me.
I don't like that these call recording apps record via the phone's mics, as opposed to storing the audio from the call directly. It makes it hard to understand what the other caller is saying without having your phone's volume maxed out.
It's better than nothing, especially since if I know I'll need to refer to a call later I can just crank up the volume
It says they have a free version, but it's only for 7 days. I don't really like giving any of my financial information until I've had a chance to try the app. It wants my credit card info up front. Did not finish installing and canceled. I will think about it.

@stillmangal no one wants to use firmware tool to flash different csc files. Leave people alone. This is a fine solution for most. I know how to do all that silly stuff but it's a waste of time making videos on it, most do not have interest.

Great video. I just purchased the premium version and tried it with Google voice and it did not record anything. I have been using Google voice for the past 14 years and all of my calls go through Google voice. Do you have knowledge of how to make it work with Google voice, and if not how can I cancel my subscription? Appreciate your videos and the dinosaurs. Keep em coming.

I just put the call on speaker & use any of my other cellphones voice recorder app to record everything. Simple & flawless.

Can't find record calls on my Galaxy Z Fold 5 with Android 14 and One UI 6.0
Thats weird, I installed it off Play Store and used the Helper app like usual and it works fine. Hmm... I kinda wanna get the basic version off of Galaxy now

Please do not spread wrong info. No country ban recording feature between two individuals converstion. Laws are there not to tap the phone lines by third parties.@@jspring86
What about earbuds recording via Bluetooth? I tried it, but it only records my own voice 😢 Any tips, or is this feature not possible?
I think due to the restrictions you have to have it on the headset itself not a headphones or Bluetooth speaker sadly

It shows that it's recording, but I can't hear the play back.
I get that you need consent in order to record a call, in a lot of countries. What I don't get is that this feature is disabled. They should enable it but display an educational message that you need to ask for consent. Where does this end, if features are disabled because you *might* use it not in accordance with the local laws.

What's not available in the UK? The built in recorder or Cube ACR? I'm in the UK and I see Cube ACR in the Galaxy Store (I currently only have an S10 but wanted to check that I can still record calls on the S24 before upgrading).

Of course ACR is NOT working . And no other app like this will work. The oficial recording app is working on samsung if you change the CSC to a country where call recording is legal. , or buy the phone from a country where call recording is legal.
