unfortunately roblox is a lot worse than this. you mentioned using the Report abuse button in the video, but it is common knowledge on roblox that this button rarely works. it often creates more problems than fixes (mass reporting) because roblox uses primarily bot moderators and almost no human moderators.
@@Sumsubcom there are some games that are actually for older audiences, but because parents think it's a children's platform they think nothing of it. Games like Combat Warrior's are very gory and maybe just a tad bit too gory for children

Unfortunately you can't tell many kids how much danger they are in, they think they are invulnerable and as they become teenagers their parents are seen as old and don't know anything. Parents need to watch and stay close, sometimes all they can do is tell the child to come and speak to them if someone makes them feel uncomfortable and then address the how's and why's.
I do believe a lot is depending on what kind of parent are you. Obviously they have a rebellious age but if they share zero information with you and hide things from you it will tell things about you what kind of parent you are. Honestly, I believe that parental restrictions should be applied on a per child basis. I am 17 years old, I’ve been using computers since I was about five, never had parental restrictions, and I have never really fallen into any of these kinds of traps. Mind you, some of it could probably be attributed to my blindness and the fact I did not spend much time playing games or using popular social media, but I still think that applies. Much more important than parental restrictions is discussing things with your kids, and monitoring them when they’re younger. I have personally experienced many parents putting very restrictive parental restrictions on their children, pretty much not letting them do anything, instead of actually properly discussing stuff with them, as well as ensuring that they use technology properly and not fall into any of these sort of scams and the traps you have outlined in this video
The over protectiveness of parents is not a good thing how can you ensure your child is ready for the world whilst not being allowed to explore it And also it is their part in making that kind of world and not willing to take new iniatives to solve problems rather finding quick short term restrictive fixes for it like not letting children go out much further than to change themselves, behave properly and follow rules themselves so children can naturally be safe outside
