As a new year gift for 2010, two ghazals of Iftikhar Naseem are uploaded. The first couplet of the first ghazal means that after rains, rainbows shall appear. So, we hope that after the tumultous 2009, the year 2010 shall bring us peace, love and prosperity across the globe, especially in Pakistan. Iftikhar Naseem, more popularly known as Ifti, is a profound poet of English, Urdu and Punjabi languages. He is a globe trotter. He hails from Faisalabad, Pakistan and is settled in Chicago, USA. Dr. Amjad Parvez found music in his poetry and has sung two Ghazals of Ifti. Put to music by Radio Pakistan, Lahore's Producer, Salim Bazmi, it is hoped that the poetry and melody lovers shall enjoy this upload.

Second Ghazal is inquisitive nature.
very subtle message of despair.

*dramjadparvez*, a UA-cam channel up loaded a ghazal of Iftikhar Naseem. Amjad rendered with his fine competence, but at the same time, i noticed that he genuinely promoted the poet, which is Amjad's nice effort. Incase, to my opinion, the poet in Pakistan is not a known person. The other wonderful aspect is: The video contains the pictures of great perosnalities, like Amitab bachan, Kishwar naheed, Ahmad Fraz and also the poet of this ghazal. Thanks to Amjad. Khalid Asghar.
