Money saw the Lions lose to the Cowboys because they lost a fumble on the Cowboys goal line in Dallas when they were poised to go ahead early in the 4th quarter. The Lions offense might just be the best in the NFL this year. Their line, until that fumble happened which sucked the life out of the team, held up really well against the Cowboy pass rush until they got 2 scores down. Everyone saw the Cowboys demolish the Vikings a week later in Minnesota. The Lions went toe to toe with the Eagles in week one, while the Vikings got crushed by Philly. Finally, Detroit had the Vikings beat in week 3. Still do not know why the coaches called things the way they did at the end of the game, but this Lions team in week 14 now knows how to close. Gamblers have seen the Lions and Vikings. Many people at ESPN have not.
If Detroits D played as well as it’s has the last few weeks the first part of the season, we’d have at least 3 more victories. We’re getting healthy, the D has made massive progress. Playing well enough to win, with a high powered offense. Now add Williams to that WR core, we’re going to do some damage. Go Lions!
Lions have a -9 point differential and the Vikings have a +10. Lions have better offense and defense than the Vikings in yards per game. Lions had a rougher schedule so far and and inconsistencies early in the season that they've sored up. Not that hard to figure out.
Lol Vikings have played 5 of the top 10 defense teams so that bullshit that they haven’t beaten anyone is a joke. Their 3-2 against top 10 defense…not too shabby for a fraudulent team. 🤣🤣
Vikings are a good team this year. The Lion's can beat them, and I hope they do. But division games are always tough no matter the records. The Lions almost beat them in Minnesota and they play much better at home. So, fingers crossed.
That's just the gambling houses responding to the bettors and trying to move the money back to Minnesota. The Lions have played them tough under Campbell but the reality is, as up and down as he is against some teams, Cousins is 8-2 against the Lions with 21 TD's vs. 3 INT's. This game should be close. I'd just stay away from it if I was betting but that's me. Oh yeah, and my bookie back in the day was a guy named Nick, not Sal. He was a decent enough sort considering his occupation and he did make a helluva meatball sub. Sandwich shops were a major enterprise with the folks in that profession back then. Make a bet, get dinner to go.
It's nothing about records....it's stats and who is trending upwards, plus home field advantage.... right now the Lions trajectory is way higher than the Vikes. You guys are in such shock... 😂
The Giants weren’t all that when we played them in their own house. (The Lions showed up and bully balled them. As they did to the Jaguars. As it will be against the Vikings. Justin Jefferson will get his but the Lions are going to make a statement!
Lions are now favored by 2.5 according to ESPN and Draftkings Sportsbook

I think Vegas is tryna capitalize off the lions fans believing in them making the playoffs
No cap
Exactly
Lions were 10/1 to make the playoffs last week. Now 5/1…
Eh

5 of detroit's losses are by 3 or 4 points. I feel like detroit has some great momentum for this game. Go Lions!

It’s a 3 point swing, means early SHARP money moved the line.
Because they played this team to the last possession at their stadium.
I take Vikings 29 Lions 23. Jettas 2 TDs Hock find endzone once (guaranteed) lol. #TheReturnOfHock
I'd Rather Have the Vikings as underdogs and continue to be disrespected -- more motivation like bulletin board material.
Division game at home.
Yeah Vegas doesn't give money away, they like the Lions team.

Tho this is a very win able game for DET, its all out disrespectful to being 10-2.
It now 2.5 points for lions

Vegas knows the game is getting flexed to a non 1pm time. AKA Kirk's kryptonite

I'm sure herpes would be 10-2 if they were playing the right teams
O line the best, re sign all those guys and the coach
