Aliens: Earth is so dangerous. Why don’t you change it?
Humans: I get knocked down, but I get up again.
Human: Yes, the Polar Bear is a protected species.
Alien: Oh, my mistake. I was told they actively hunt humans, I guess I lied
Human: Yes, that is also true. Aren’t they just the cutest?
Reminds me of how One guy was just killed by cougar and his brother was seriously injured in California within the last week
Come on guys, Australia is not that bad. Not EVERYTHING is trying to kill you, maybe 95% but not everything (and we do indeed love it)
still trying to figure out why they say australia is so dangerous. up until i learned about the spiders years ago i thought they were crocs. and cuddly stuffed toys like koalas and kangaroos. through they say the platpus is poisonous but who wants to pet that? you'd think rain forests with swollowing you whole snakes, billions of ants, little fishy that will clean you to the bone and so on be worse.
It isn't the fact that there are snakes that can inject up to 5 different venoms simultaneously, but the plants and animals that can use their poisons to inflict such pain, you will consider suicide.
Well Australian possums are adorable. I think God made a mistake and gave the USA what should have been Australian possums and vice versa. Our possums are pure nightmare fuel.
@@entelechy00And then there are the dangers in the seas around Australia, just to balance things out. Not forgetting the extreme weather conditions, the venomous insects and those occasional plagues of mice. Proving that even an itty bitty mouse can become a threat, if there are enough of them. Your people play a mean game of rugby and cricket, just look at those bowlers, they are deadly. Then you sing that beautiful song about your love for Australia. 👍
We haven't changed Earth because we love it just the way it is. Its unpredictablility is what makes us love it. If you can't understand that you'll ever understand humans.
Born Slippy. We get knocked down, but we get up again; ain't ever gonna keep us down.
If humans have been engaging in trade with other planets for so long, how did no one ever notice they have FTL? Were they using middlemen the entire time? Otherwise it would be a practical impossibility to conduct trade over interstellar distances without FTL.
Many people like a challenge. I like wearing my old clothes around my home till they fall apart. I like the challenge of seeing how long they can last. I sometimes watch foreign language shows, but only speak English and a little high school German. I like the challenge of trying follow the stories without understanding the languages. I've watched shows from about a dozen different countries so far. I have painful mobility issues. A mobility scooter or motorized wheelchair would help me get around better and with a lot less pain, but I got a rolling walker instead. It's better for my health, is more like normal walking, and I like the challenge. I also occasionally use a pair of offset handle quad canes in tight places, but I prefer my rolling walker.
There are all kinds of different challenges one can face in life. Meeting them strengthens and improves us.
How the humans have even been able to contact aliens without FTL?
I don't like A.I-generated voices. Get a proper actor.
