      Yes, I cut it where was the problem and attached again, He became slightly shorter, but has retained its authenticity)

    I am surprised that none of the screws snapped when they were removed and that none of the plating chipped off when you were polishing. Was the thermostat/timer salvageable? Did you have to make any parts? Have you made waffles with it?

      No, I didn't make any new details. All the details remained authentic. The waffle maker now works perfectly

      Not ruined. Just needs to be seasoned, then it's good to go. I prefer a waffle iron without the Teflon coating. So, well done!

      I don't know where you are. Here in Russia, I can buy in any hardware store. I was polishing with the GOI paste. But you can use a polishing paste for the car.
