Do you know when Craig joined as an understudy? Curious because when the show on Broadway opened he was doing Phantom on tour.
Early/late Fall of 1999. He was in the company the second time I saw the show in September 1999. He had recently joined.

@@blue_musicals he was not; was busy with preproduction for his solo CD and concerts. From what I remember; he didn’t want to be a part of David Hasselhoff’s taped circus act.

Any info on the date/who he was covering? I'm curious when they changed the tempo - probably with Jack Wagner?
The date is April 29, 2000
Craig was covering Joseph Mahowald who did the matinee performances. Jack Wagner was the first of three marquee names starring in the show.
