Before switching to Charlotte Mason, I used some Waldorf methods, and they used to divide the different types of efforts/subjects into "breathing in" and "breathing out" subjects. It's a similar idea, but I never quite was sure which subjects fell where. This really gets to the heart of it! Thank you, Sonya❤
