This was so helpful thank u! Do u consider the closet space to be small? Is the closet split in two down the middle for the both of u? And are the kitchens usually super gross?
The closet space was good enough for me, I had about 50 hangers fit in there ( I brought a lot of clothes). I put my pants in one of the drawers and my shoes under my bed. The closet is split in the middle for both of us. I found the kitchen to be clean, the stove would be dirty at times, usually on the weekends (like food pieces or splatters), because some people didn't clean up after they used it. But, I found the kitchen to be clean and the cleaning staff usually cleans every morning during the week.
oh wow i just found this video! i remember seeing you around campus and the hall but i was on the second floor. I agree with the cold 24/7, those thermostats did nothingggg 😭
Hey, I am going to be in Salley Hall this fall. I was wondering where did you get all the storage equipment and did you buy that refrigerator or did it come with it. Also, what was your budget that was spent on your room?
Hi! The fridge came with the room. Fridges come in all the rooms. I spent around $400 on the decor, storage, hangers, bedding etc. I am from out of state so I bought everything to be shipped to FSU. Most of my stuff is from Target or Walmart. I got my posters from on campus and I also brought some stuff from home, like small dishes and postcards to put up :)
hey! this is kind of a random question but I'm moving into Salley in the fall and I was wondering if that indent in the wall on the left is spacious enough to fit a bed. like if you could move a bed into that corner up against the wall? not sure if that makes sense.
Hello! There are no closet doors, but there is a rod to hang a curtain. For my shoes, I put them under my bed rather than have a door shoe organizer. I found the no closet doors helpful at times because I could look right at my closet from bed and think of outfits to wear, haha :)
Hi I saw someone else’s dorm tour of salley from 2020 and they put a curtain in front of their half of the closet! I couldn’t tell if the curtain rod was already installed or not. I can comment the link to that dorm tour if u want :)
@@zoetrafton125 hi yes, I think Ik what video you’re talking ab because I couldn’t tell either of the rod was already installed or not, but can you link the video anyway just incase it’s a different one:) thank youuu:)))))
I was also curious about the curtain rod. If you pause your video at seven seconds, there appears to be a rod already in place. I will wait to buy one until we arrive. Move in is August 18th! Thank you so much for the tour. Your did a wonderful job with the tour and the room is awesome!

Hi! It’s too narrow, so no. My roommate fit a small/medium container in there to put her records.
Was the original dresser in the gap of ur roommate's corner? also if it was, were they stacked dressers or was it one big one?
Hello! The wooden dressers come in the dorm and there are 2 separate ones, one for you and your roommate.
hi, so is there no closet doors? and if there isnt is there like a rod on the wall to wear i could hang a curtain?
